I guess the new version breaks it?
6.10 is substantially newer than 6.2, you should probably upgrade.

You have the same problem I did. The suspend stuff only works with 6.4 and later.

Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.
Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.
Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.
Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.
Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.
Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!
Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.
Thanks particle very nice
Got it work >.>
WCG should update that client.
They SHOULD do a few things, but the wheels at IBM turn slowly.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
From the context, my guess would be he downloaded a client dated later than the officially listed build on their website. Such an action is required to get it to work.

I find the new "suspend if CPU load exceeds XX %" option that BOINC manager now has to VERY useful on my mainrig.
While gaming with BOINC running in the background, I always had the issue of increased loading times (by a factor of 2 or 3 - whyever that is) but almost never any lags that actually occured in-game.
So now, when a game is loading, it draws a little CPU (I think I set 15% because 25% just isn't ever reached on a hexacore ), BOINC shuts off for a few seconds, game loads quickly, BOINC auto-reenables, bingo
Just very few games where BOINC really needs to be shut off to play. NFS series is a good example, and some shooters. RTS are all fine, for example - currently playing the new C&C 4.
@SoulsCollective:
Pfff, most of these games show no difference at all with BOINC running - SupremeCommander 2 for example
No wonder your output is so low, with THAT ccconfig file

Interesting, I find RTS titles to be the most CPU-intensive.
More than a few of the titles are not my additions - I've simply added to the larger list Particle posted above (which is itself based in part on my older listed posted previously).@SoulsCollective:

Heh, nope, that would be due to not returning any results for the past five months due to rising summer temps (and therefore air-con and therefore electricity costs) down here.No wonder your output is so low, with THAT ccconfig file

Ok, found one RTS that doesn't run smoothly with WCG running.. World in Conflict
So I had to exit BOINC and forgot to re-enable.. there went my Blueberry Pie yesterday
So to make sure that doesn't happen again, I put it in exclusive apps along with NFS and a few others I know don't run with BOINC. Just tried starting it up, and it works
