    I got this when I added a game to the xml:

    5/8/2010 10:56:43 PM Config: don't compute while CoDWaW.exe is running
    5/8/2010 10:56:51 PM Suspending network activity - an exclusive app is running

    but it just keeps on running the tasks...
    Main: i7-930 @ 2.8GHz HT on; 1x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
    2nd: i7-920 @ 2.66GHz HT off; 1x EVGA GTX 650 Ti SSC 100% GPUGrid
    3rd: i7-3770k @ 3.6GHz HT on, 3 threads GPUGrid CPU; 2x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
    Part-time: FX-4100 @ 3.6GHz, 2 threads GPUGrid CPU; 1x EVGA GTX 650 100% GPUGrid

    since winXP doesn't have the C:\ProgramData\BOINC like in win7/vista, should i create it in the C:\Program Files\BOINC instead?

    I wish Steam would push out an .exe that does nothing when I open any game so I could just add that .exe instead of all 20-something games. -sigh-

    Go to your Messages tab and at the top of the log, it shows you the data directory. Put it there.

    the exclusive app setting is not working at all for me. I was using 6.10.50 64-bit with Win7, and also am trying 6.10.18 64-bit with Win7. With the .50 version the config file options were read and showed up in the messages log, but the tasks were never suspended. In the .18 version it seems the exclusive app options in the config are not being read since it is not showing in the messages log. What should I do?

    here is my cc_config.xml
    Code:
    <cc_config>
    <options>
    <exclusive_app>CoDWaW.exe</exclusive_app>
    <exclusive_app>x264.exe</exclusive_app>
    <exclusive_gpu_app>CoDWaW.exe</exclusive_gpu_app>
    <exclusive_gpu_app>StepMania.exe</exclusive_gpu_app>
    <exclusive_gpu_app>Stepmania.exe</exclusive_gpu_app>
    <exclusive_gpu_app>stepmania.exe</exclusive_gpu_app>
    <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately>
    </options>
    </cc_config>
    I know the gpu option won't work for <6.10.20 but why the exclusive app option is not working?

    I haven't looked much into it since posting the above but I just found that something called "GameOverlayUI.exe" is started each time I start some steam games. I assume it's started for all games that support the in-game steam functions. So I'm going to try adding that to make suspend list and maybe it'll suspend for all Steam games.

    Edit: Case sensitive.
