    Mobo...

Can you give some more detail about this board? I had to look around to get some more information because the pictures really sparked my interest. On board power and reset switches? Fantastic! Also are you waiting for the release of the Lynnfield CPU to test it with?

Apart from having a clean and simple design, I'm not particularly impressed by ASUS this time. At least I wouldn't be willing to pay more than around 150 EUR (~$190) for this one but it will probably cost something like 210 EUR or 240~$250.

    @ RPGWiZaRD

in germany is it now available for 190€ but i think the price will drop if more dealer have it available.

Btw its a good board, i have it running with a Clarkdale and retail Core i5-750

But i think the Gigabyte P55-UD4 is the better choice, its available for only 145€

btw if i were to decide between this and the gigabyte i would take Gigabyte P55-UD4

"Generally speaking, CMOS power consumption is the result of charging and discharging gate capacitors. The charge required to fully charge the gate grows with the voltage; charge times frequency is current. Voltage times current is power. So, as you raise the voltage, the current consumption grows linearly, and the power consumption quadratically, at a fixed frequency. Once you reach the frequency limit of the chip without raising the voltage, further frequency increases are normally proportional to voltage. In other words, once you have to start raising the voltage, power consumption tends to rise with the cube of frequency."
