    mountain mods turn around time

Curious how long it takes for mountain mods to build your order and ship it out. I emailed Ben, but he must of skipped over the estimated time question.

I want to purchase a pedestal stand for my case with triple holes for all 4 sides in gloss black.

Are we talking 5-7 days or 1-2 months?

I think it largely depends on which part/case you ordered in relation to which batch of panels their machines are going through.

I ordered my CYO UFO on 8/3 .
I ordered the Duality rear panel with one one mobo tray . For the other mobo tray hole they made a custom 2x120 rad mount plate .
Got the case yesterday 8/12 woooooooot 9 days . I'm stoked
The case was packaged very nicely , and is absolutely perfect .

I don't want to create a new thread, so I figured I'd add to this one.

Does anyone know if the mountain mods pedestal has a top and bottom?

The picture shows 3 sides, but the description states that the bottom acts as a floor for the ufo... meaning the bottom of the pedestal is empty.

Not sure if that is right or not..

If anyone has this setup, please describe the install on the pedestal. I love the idea that the radiators are isolated and that I can install pumps and wiring down there without exposure.

Sorry this is not helping the question of the OP but I've been flirting with using one for a RAD box and a place to put the pumps and reservoirs. Does it have an option for locating (2) 4 x 120 RAD's? The web site is confusing to me with the labels designations for sides or top and such.

I guess the main part that is confusing for me is does it have a top.

Doesn't look like it. Based on the description, it appears to use the floor of a U2-UFO, Ascension or another Pedestal (if you're stacking) as the top.

    Eddie ,
You set your UFO or Ascension on top of the Pedestal . Then you bolt the Ped' to the original bottom of your case through the feet / caster holes . This will make the case and Ped' completely seperated . You would have to drill holes in the bottom of your UFO / AScen' to run the hoses and wires int the Ped' . If you don't want to drill your case bottom then order the Smiley bottom panel . You would then replace your original case bottom panel with the Smiley and use your original bottom panel as the bottom of the Ped'

    Fox3 ,
The Pedestal is 18 x18 by 9 inches deep . A 480 rad is to big . MM makes a Pedestal 24 . Which is 18 x24 by 9 inches deep . You would order the Ped'24 with side 1 and 2 as the 4 x 120 panels . You would also have to order an Extended UFO Side panel for the top .

I ordered my MM Ascension on Tuesday night and it was ready to ship on Thursday.........until I decided to change the order.

Seems if they have the parts in stock and there are no custom panels needed, it is pretty fast.

    a total of 4.

    PA120.3 PA160 MCR320 x 2

    and 5 DDC total.

    cpu x 2, gpu x 2, board x 1

Lower chamber has no rads.. so 80% of my heat exchange is done up top.

Not sure what radiators you'll be using in the pedestal, but not sure you can use 4 triples - due to overlap at the corners - dunno for sure.

1 mcr 320 in the front, mcr220 on the left, innovatek 220 on the right, rear 3 fans will be exhaust.

Top will be thermochill 120.3, 120.2, and bix 120.. exhaust will solely be the 120mm fan.. hmm I may need to get a new top window with 2-3 exhaust fans.
