oh damn lol I only have one. Also would having the silver in a res work if the res isn't exactly in line? More of a fillport res that connects to a T, the res will basically be connected to a T block with a male-male fitting.

    its fine in the res...

I just think you would want more then 1.

I have no test to confirm this, but all my systems have been using at least 4, and i havent had issues yet.

ah ok, well I'm gonna try just using the one since I finished ordering everything I need, then if I see anything i'll drop in a piece of silver into the res.

Bits did a big no no to XS on a public forum.

This is there punishment for being involved in it.

Sorry charles, but the other charles was pretty firm about it.

Be thankful we get to do at least BitsP or B*P.

Im annoyed at the bananas myself as well, but vendors should know to stay neutral with forums.
They can go hostile with people, but not independent forums.

    Cheers for the explanation Naekuh.

I guess I'm just wondering why we have to suffer (suffer being relative of course).

I mean, everyone knows what spells... it's not like the word has been struck from our minds... It's just all these damn bananas; you know... they're getting to me.

Anyway Mate, I'll leave it be...

    silverphoenix: sorry again... I done.

    1. Why would you need 4? You expect 1 fitting to completely ionize into water or something?

    Completely agree.

I don't know what happened, and I'm completely uninterested in all the forum drama going on, but are we supposed to act like one of the major water cooling companies doesn't exist?

I dusted off my 30 year old high school chemistry a few weeks ago and tried to get some sort of answer to this question. Unfortunately all I ended up with was apple + orange = banana well, not quite but the answer made about as much sense.

    we need a chemist...

I'd guess two might do the trick, Silverphoenix - but that is just a guess.

Weighing in one more time on the banana debacle - really, really, really wish we could just move beyond it. It's just bringing more attention to the issue, and makes us look silly. Unfortunately, we don't know all the facts (don't need to know anymore at this point). I respect Fugger's right to manage his forum the way he wants to, just really, really, really wish we could move on (yes, that's 2 x 3 reallys!). I mean, come on, can we really expect to do a worklog with this going on:

I guess it all depends in which alphabet/language you write it

    БП, Битсповер

I guess people can adopt this as standard for worklogs...at least until all of this childish mess passes over lol

I think that 1 should be enough. The amount of silver that ionizes is very little, so having 4 is kinda like having 4 silver killcoils. Just unnecessary.

    Oh yeah, hey ryan.

Because your only getting the inside area of the barb. Even then its a very thin plating, and not a solid chunk of silver like a kill coil.

There is more silver in a kill coil then there is on 4 banana powered plated barb.

    Read top.

I recomend 4 because thats what ive been using, and i havent had problems with it.

If someone who used 1 or 2 can step up, then we can retire it.

But as i said this is from my own experience. Im not saying u need to use 4, but im saying i got the best results from using at least 4.
