    No idea for EFI, sorry :o

    Trying to figure out max super pi 32M bclk headroom for this i7 920 3845B260 cpu and it looks very nice managing to boot straight from bios into windows at 227bclk bios set (226.8bclk) to run Super Pi 32M and then using Asus TurboV to push bclk to 228bclk (227.7bclk) to run Super Pi 32M. Ended up with screenie @229bclk (228.7bclk)

    System:
    • Intel Core i7 920 3845B260
    • EK Supreme LT 1366 / FESER 480 / MCP655
    • Asus P6T6 WS Revolution
    • Gskill Trident F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD
    • 512MB Inno3D 8800GT OC Edition 190.62WHQL
    • 750GB Samsung SATA
    • Pioneer DVR-217 DVD-RW
    • Corsair HX1000 PSU
    • Dual Boot - WinXP Pro SP3 (nLite fully updated) with Vista Theme & Win7 Ultimate 64bit RTM

    bios set boot into windows @227bclk

    TurboV bumped to 228bclk and 229bclk

    IOH = 1.22v and PCI-E = 104mhz

    started playing with some new memory

    System:

    Kit 1: module #5 + #6 + #3

    Kit #1, likes lower vdimm than Kit #2 and handles 2000Mhz 7-9-7-24 and 8-9-8-24 timings well. This is very first winxp pro sp3 bench run for single Super Pi 32M - easily done at DDR3-2097Mhz 8-9-8-24 2T at 1.64v.

    eva2000, thanks for your screens and posts about this mobo. Building a system for a friend and was able to get an i7 920 to 4.0 GHz very easily on this mobo

    Just for kicks, I'll try going for a maximum SS if I have time.

    You're welcome glad my info helps others like yourself

    Interesting findings for me especially has I have a problematic module #3 in first kit1 which likes higher QPI/DRAM and VDIMM than module #5 and #6.

    System:

    DDR3-2000Mhz 8-9-8-24 1T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1: module #5 + #3 + #6)

    DDR3-2137Mhz 8-9-8-24 1T at 1.64v
    (Kit 1: module #5 + #3 + #6)

    DDR3-1960Mhz 7-8-7-24 1T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1: module #5 + #3 + #6)

    From testing individual modules #5 and #6 they don't like DDR3-2000Mhz 7-8-7-x at all, while module #3 can handle 7-8-7-x but needs higher QPI/DRAM and vdimm voltage than modules #1, #2 and #4. So decided to see how high Kit 1 with modules #5 + #3 + #6 can go with 7-8-7-24 1T timings. I found the following from using memtest86+ v4.0 and HyperPi 8x32M tests:

    • With same tFAW = 34, B2B = 4 and DDRAM Data/CTRL VREF A/B/C tweaks as my 8-9-8-24 tests, I managed to get much less errors at DDR3-2000Mhz 7-8-7-24 1T. With tweaks around 50-65 errors, without tweaks = 10000s of errors in memtest86+ v4.0.
    • But as modules #5 and #6 like lower than 1.64v vdimm memory voltage, couldn't get DDR3-2000Mhz stable.
    • The highest I could go for memtest86+ v4.0 and HyperPi 8x32M was DDR3-1960Mhz 7-8-7-24 1T at 1.62v.

    Just a question...

    Have you ever measured the vDimm on the P6T6 on the dimm-slots? Found some weired things, but need to confirm on P6T7...

    Do you have an measure point for vDimm on P6TX?

    No idea where measure point for DMM on the P6T6 WS Revo heh.. maybe hiwa would know ?

    DDR3-1900Mhz 6-8-6-24 1T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1: module #5 + #3 + #6)

    Testing CAS6 clocks, with 6-7-6-24 1T at 1.62v max memory frequency came to DDR3-1720Mhz (860mhz), but loosen tRCD from 7 to 8 and max memory frequency jumped to DDR3-1900Mhz 6-8-6-24 1T at 1.62v! Using same same tFAW = 34, B2B = 4 and DDRAM Data/CTRL VREF A/B/C tweaks as my 8-9-8-24 tests for HyperPi 8x32M and single Super Pi 32M.

    12GB - 6x2GB A-Data 2000X
    @DDR3-1702Mhz 6-7-6-24 2T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1 + 2: module #1 + #5 + #4 + #3 + #2 + #6)

    It paid off to individually test all 6x 2GB A-Data 2000X modules and sort out the problematic module #3 as now it's sorted out, clocking 12GB - 6x2GB config is so much easier, straight into 12GB A-Data 2000X @DDR3-1702Mhz 6-7-6-24 at 1.62v. Kept CMD Rate at auto for 2T just for starters.

    Stable for Super Pi 32M at least. Need to work on HyperPi 8x32M tommorrow

    Best SS: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=816763

    Prime stable somewhere around 4.2-4.3, but I won't push it and will just run it at 4.0 around 1.20 volts.

    Congrats Ivan

    12GB - 6x2GB A-Data 2000X
    @DDR3-1909Mhz 7-8-7-25 2T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1 + 2: module #1 + #2 + #4 + #3 + #5 + #6)

    Now to test higher memory frequency with 7-8-7-25 timings at 1.62v vdimm. 1T results in ~10% more memtest86+ v4.0 reported bandwidth than 2T, but 1T was only stable for Super Pi 1M and failed 32M. 2T was much easier to pass Super Pi 32M @DDR3-1909Mhz 7-8-7-24 2T with tRFC 110, tFAW 37 and B2B 4.

    Swapped module #5 and #2 places so the 6x2GB A-Data 2000X config is as follows module

    • Dimm 1 = module #1
    • Dimm 2 = module #2
    • Dimm 3 = module #4
    • Dimm 4 = module #3
    • Dimm 5 = module #5
    • Dimm 6 = module #6

    System:

    1T RTL A/B/C = 58/60/62

    2T RTL A/B/C = 58/60/61

    6x2GB = 12GB A-Data 2000X Max Validation
    @DDR3-2044Mhz 7-8-7-25 2T at 1.62v / 1.5v QPI/DRAM

    Managed to push 6x2GB A-Data 2000X to DDR3-2044Mhz 7-8-7-25 2T validation with 1.5v QPI/DRAM and 1.62v

    Now pushing 12GB A-Data 2000X to 8x32M Pi stable @DDR3-2000Mhz 8-9-8-25 2T at 1.62v vdimm with 1.50 QPI/DRAM uncore voltage with max validation at same voltages @DDR3-2112Mhz 8-9-8-25 2T!

    System:

    12GB - 6x2GB A-Data 2000X
    @DDR3-2000Mhz 8-9-8-25 2T at 1.62v
    (Kit 1 + 2: module #1 + #2 + #4 + #3 + #5 + #6)

    tRFC = 110
    tFAW = 38
    B2B = 4

    HyperPi v0.99b - 8x32M Pi

    Single Super Pi 32M

    Everest Bandwidth

    12GB - 6x2GB A-Data 2000X
    @DDR3-2112Mhz 8-9-8-25 2T at 1.62v

    Time to start pushing this i7 920 3845B260 before my Xeon W3570 arrives

    First stop Super Pi 32M @4510Mhz at 1.464v and CPUZ max validation @4685Mhz at 1.464v. Will push it more tomorrow as today it's 31-32C room ambients. Load temps for Pi were around 66-73C.

    System:

    4510Mhz at 1.464v

    4685Mhz at 1.464v

    Swapped to my trusty 6GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000C7 for pushing max Super Pi 32M Pi and for HT enabled and disabled max cpuz validations

    System:

    i7 920 @4616Mhz HT enabled at 1.536v

    Max CPUZ Validation @4760Mhz HT enabled at 1.568v

    i7 920 @4700Mhz HT disabled at 1.568v

    Max CPUZ Validation @4785Mhz HT disabled at 1.568v

    Probably hit a bclk limit and/or cpu cooling limit for water cooling ?

    Time to make way for my Xeon W3570 with unlocked cpu multiplier which should arrive tomorrow

    sub zero i've seen folks with 256bclk on P6T6 WS Revo but for me on air/water max around 230bclk so far.

    best bios 0001 bios linked to in first post of this thread

    Thanks!

    EDIT:
    Awsome board!
    Quick testing :

    CPU 1.45V
    QPI/DRAM 1.45V
    NB 1.44V
    DRAM 1.9V
    PCI-E 111MHz

    Better than my classified 759 was.

    wow 3931A haven't seen such a batch before.. good luck

    Been playing with W3570 3847A696 on H20 crazy cpu with HT enabled validation at 4997Mhz at 1.488v and 32M pi stable 4803mhz HT at 1.464v http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=239259 !

    Goes like my old 920
    Or I have some settings wrong and it is causing need for high volts.

    1.37V for 21x200 is not good. At lower voltages Iīll get various IRQ BSODīs and other random errors.

    eva: do you happen to have any good 21x200 low Vcore settings?

    Hi,

    Just got my p6t6 and W3520, figured I would upgrade it to the 0001 BIOS. eva200, any chance you could upload the BIOS to another site or perhaps email it to me? Rapidshare is not working :\

    Thanks

    RapidShare has gone to hell in a hand basket lately.

    www.sendspace.com should be users first choice.
    The above link has the Asus P6T6 0001 bios you're looking for.

    depends on cpu to be honest i have 4x i7 920 need 4.2ghz 1.45+ vcore then i have one i7 920 need 4.2ghz at 1.25v

    rapidshare link works for me still, what isn't working ?

    This is the frustrating crap you get at RapidShare on weekends when they are busy.

    Give sendspace a try and you'll never go back. Way faster free downloads and no irritating waiting for users.
