Flip a coin. Both are very decent, top-end PSU's. Whichever had the most features that I'd actually use and less of the ones I wouldn't is what I'd pick. As for specs, I'd lean towards the one that had the lowest measured ripple, followed by best efficiency, from good review sites such as jonnyguru.com, etc.
I have an Enermax Infiniti 720 and Corsair HX520, both running for a few years now and no probs with either. Not one single issue, they both just sit there and dish out the power w/o borking the downstream components from high ripple, and are quiet. I'd recommend them both equally.

I believe the Enermax has better efficiency. Thats actually the one Im planning on buying.
I would lean slightly towards the Enermax, but that is only because I've been running with Enermax for a few years starting with my old Pentium 4 NW PC to my current Core 2 Quad Extreme PC.

Stop looking at the walls, look out the window
Everyday I take out my Rev85 1050 dust it off and give it a great big hug.
Honestly both are great, however I personally think the Rev85 is a little bit quieter.
Too funny
Well I really would like to get the enermax, but the reviews from newegg of incompatible with my motherboard is scaring me. Also enermax has a 3-year warranty vs corsair 5-year. But the enermax is 80 plus silver and got excellent reviews from numerous websites.
What to do

I have seen charts where the rev85 is quieter, I own both and they are pretty much equal in sound aspect - nicer fan in the enermax (dual ball bearing) vs 1000HX's sleeve bearing fan.
the efficiency is where the enermax really wins, much better efficiency means lower costs in the long run
Yep, Enermax PSU is more efficient.
The Corsair is Awesome. The Enermax is INSANE.
That should about sum it up.

i have both
keep using Corsair for benching though
I had a slight incompatibility with my mobo(EVGA Classified) but the B-stock Rev85 fixed that.
lol what do you mean "slight" incompatibility
+1 for the corsair. After sales service is awesome
slight as in it didn't work mobo would startup and then turn off and power supply would show short...with the old revision. Yes it is marked in the part number I called Enermax and they sorted it out and got me an RMA in 3 days.
The Enermax 1050 is on sale right now for $179. after a $100 rebate. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...dlist=celebros
had one for a few months now, rock solid rails, quiet, cool and efficient. Best PSU I've owned.

I'm going to get this PSU today.. I was going to order from amazon for $263 and use the $45 MIR listed on newegg and enermax's site, but then I saw this.
The MIR when clicked at Zip Zoom looks fake like they added there symbol to it.. Has anyone used ZIP for mir before?? I've never bought from there site, do they have fast shipping as Amazon Guarantee's I'll get it by Thursday the 13th. Thats why I'm asking.
thanks! and wow. $100 MIR might be worth mailing in.
