Ebay seller pretty much claimed I was an idiot for even trying to contact him so late, however I did explain my situation fully, having not received my DFI motherboard until t_ski fixed it and stuff, so it was a month before I could have tested the sticks...but I didn't do anything to kill them other than remove them from the package and store them.

Anyway, the seller ignored me and the case was escalated to Ebay customer support, and Ebay ruled the case in my favor- full refund including shipping cost.

Found some TCCD, asking price was $25 + $3.65, I've offered $21.35.

I'm glad it went well in the end.

dont waste your money sam. i have some killer tccd kits from a64 days. the 2x 256 kits are insane. I also have a ton of early ch5 kits from way back. take your pick and they are in the mail on monday.
I even have a ocz ddr booster if you want to play with that. I got it when when we were doing ocz powerstream 520 a64 days. those were the days. I think I might have some early ocz enhanced bandwidth kits laying around here somewhere.

I see some very nice kits there. What are those G.Skills? LE or LA?

I bought Corsair 3200XL Pros, v1.1 DDR-400 2-2-2-5 2.75v

I have a kit of the 3200XL.... somewhere...
Are yours 2x256MB as well or 2x512MB?

By the way I just bought another kit of Corsair 2000C9DNV with Samsung HCF0, the winning bid was 1.50€. At first I was skeptical if they'd turn up at all, but yesterday I received them in complete original packaging.

My board is touchy, I don't get it, they won't post. Unlike the CH-5 I had these are in working order.

Generic DDR-333 2.5-3-3-7 boot right up.

Glad I have lots of crap spare DDR around...

Had to set everything manually in bios before inserting TCCD.

No, but I tested the CH5 kit in another machine...1600+ with MSI KM4M motherboard. I can try playing around with it on this machine again though...but not tonight.

They are both Corsair kits only Corsair memory I own...

Gonna run FX-8150 at ~-40 tonight and tweak for DRAM OC headroom, once I figure out the max (CPU-NB should do at least 3K at -40) maybe I'll pull down further and see if it scales.

Hey guys, how did we lose 700 points on HWBOT so quickly? Did someone leave the team? We went from about 26,050 to 25,300 in the last day or two.

EDIT:
After some investigating, it seems the point loss has been due to the ban of Solid Snake from HWBOT.
I don't even know what he did wrong...I guess photochopped stuff?

I tried with 8150 tonight, kept at ~0-10c.

Had trouble booting into XP at DDR3-2400, so I gave up. Wish I had old CPU, had horrible cores but booted into Win 7 @ DDR3-2500+ CL7
Figured out how to run 12-15-15-35 and such timings.

Seems both my sticks of Pi are dead. RipjawsX still chugging along.

GSkill issued RMA so will get right to that. I swear, if I get Hynix/Samsung high density crap I'll be a bit upset

Yeah, his account has been banned for submitting other people's results as his own, even after he got caught the first time he submitted another one which was clearly stolen as well.

sam im opening up old mobo boxes and checking out what old boards and cpu's I have. I just came across the almighty chaintech zenith ZNF3 ultra with a 4000+ mobile 754 chip attached. that is a stock image. I have a mobile there was a trick to get the heatsink to get lower contact for the bare mobile. I forgot.
I also found a DFI lan party ultra NF3. I need to find out if any of this crap still posts.

Steve I was watching your submissions on the bot. Great job! I am checking my old submissions tonight and I need to get back in here. My rank has dropped so much. I oc for fun but if I wanted to get our team some fast points what should I do? I have a gtx 670 Ive never used to submit any scores on. Do I want to dig up old hardware and try using it on all the boards or should I just put my best rig together and overclock from there? can you look at my hw account and tell me what I should try to redo? I wanna get some points for the team. Im also going through my old hdwr and trying to find some boards that work. the ones that dont I will toss or if anybody on here is good at repairing boards and wants a shot at them I wiil send them to you. I was going to send beep all my old amd ddr1 board to play with.
