i'd really appreciate it hondacity, i haven't reached more than 240 in my limited time i tried with a low multi, those cpu or ram bsods are making me crazy and i'm about to murder some silicon

here are my quick settings..i use this for most of my runs...ht off and ht on

not really loose, but ummmm just change the em to 8-8-8 or 9-9-9

    this is my boot settings
    i used this..as base...

Hondacity, do you still want help for 32M?
Did you try Monteboy's SPi Tweaker?

Ryan, any news about an own section for our team?

lol yeah i've run memory timings MUCH looser than this
    like 11-11-11-24(trfc103) LOL
i was expecting you used more subtimings tweaks

    i'll try to use 2way/1way
also what does memory low gap do?

cpu clock skew 100 is interesting tho, i've tried to play with it a bit for getting my 229.5x21 validation, but i guess it was hopeless from the start

i tried lots of different voltages i based my volts on anandtech classy review and start from there
but heat might be the biggest issue too, i'll see how it performs under cold and i got another w3520 on the way to compare

    hc
    did you tried win7 ?

i tried the eval version..i think my license for that is expired..i'll prolly get the upgrade for my vista ulitmate...

with watercooling and good ambients i'd go 1.55v maxx on vcore its suicide...

i got an a revision too...i can't go ever 225bclk...it sucks but it can do 4.4ghz easy..

i've just finished my 1st dice session
i mostly did some trial and error and learned lots of stuff
overall it went pretty good and fun , can't wait to get my dom gt back tho. This g-skill kit is not in the same league

    did some validations

2nd w3520 on hwbot, not bad for first try

i mainly played with wprime, but i'll beat those scores away once i found out how to get e-leet working in diagnostic start

i still got lots of dice left for tommorow,
i weighted the whole box when i got it and it was ~45lbs and i still have like 2/3 left

i stayed within e-leet 1.6 max vcore, i tried disabling HT and couldn't get 250 either, i guess it just need more juice or the higher QPI multi from the xeon will stop me from going further

i just saw you used much more vcore than this, what's the max you used?

    i'm all out of dice

i did score some points this weekend, but i'm very limited by my ram. I'll wait to get my Dominator GT to make another session it was fun and frustating weekend overall.

the instability from the ram or imc killed a lot of seemingly good runs. I beated a few of my scores posted on hwbot but i didn't had time to take a screenie.

i experienced something very wierd when setting 248blck x21 the qpi/uncore/core speed jumps around forth and back and i can't barely move my mouse or do anything, really wierd.

yes i have the same problem...the multiplier jumps..thats the problem with high vcore....(turbo is actually no stable with high vcore)

    solution:

..go thru the voltage increments.....example like vcore...1.4..then raise it to 1.45..then raise it to 1.55...then increase bclk..by 1mhz..then adjust vcore again...don't do 1.8v

I totally understand that, I'm very busy at the moment too and it's hard, but xs comes second to my other duties...
Besides that, I have a nice idea for the section....
