Dual Clock Generators, one right beside CPU, one below PCIE, Specialists.
LGA775 mounting holes rotated slightly at 1degree, together with S1156 holes and socket in normal position
LICC (Low Inductance Ceramic Capacitors) used in socket cavity, same as ones used on intel cpus/chipsets, notice polar ends compared to typical MLCC
PCIE Slot Disable Jumpers, which I find useful, this time cutting off Powergd signals to VGA Vregs for no VGA heat,
so get your single card runs done first with second card's pot empty the whole time.

You have essentially 3 profiles to choose from, one can be Standard, OC1 and OC2, you can even have different BIOS versions on each for comparisons and such.

is the last 16x slot 4x via p55? so running sli means cramming the cards together in 1&2?
or can it run 8x/8x with 1st and 3rd slot?
why tripple bios?
it could need some color besides dark brown black and grey ^^
but im sure the final one will look diferent

According to the pics, it is x16 (x8 if slot 3 is occupied), x4, x8 from top to bottom. So SLI/Crossfire would be in slots 1 and 3 so your cards can breathe.dual clockgens... very interesting!

Gigabyte's already planning a 24-bios board, 8x3 that iswell if u can't beat them in number of phases then beat them in number of bioses

He he. Not exactly what he is asking but even if it's manufactured by a thirdparty like Foxconn, so what? EVGA runs it's own QA and RMA departments and going through the lenghts they go to honor these, as displayed by some recent rather controversial threads on their official forums, I'd say we're in more than good hands here.EVGA
Completed board looks stunning though. Glad they got rid of the red; the computex protos just weren't carrying it like BR or Classy do. In a small way it shows the benefit of having a western company design IT components (vs. a taiwanese one), finally having someone to listen to what appeals to us aswell. People have been crying for all black as far as I can remember and they finally delivered (a certain aw9d max came close once way back). Hope there's not a flurry of immediate me too atempts if it takes on; as recent events have shown it tends to wear out fast.
What's the benefit of having dual clock generators?
Is that black eSATA port powered SATA?
Is BIOS profile switching on the fly? (I don't see the benefit of having 3 chips otherwise since boards have offered saved BIOS profiles for how many years now?)
Is there a higher end SKU coming or is this it? (There was a prototype with dual 8 pin connectors if memory serves me right.)
Also, bean shaped mounting holes vs. push pins? (Lame question I know but Intel might give you hard time if it doesn't work out, no? Or is that one of their looser guidelines?)
