I highly doubt the price will change since they had to take all that other as a no win game. Now i wonder what ic's will be on this current release.

As a side note they should tell the old part number vs the new one when they get these kits to rolling out. For the sake of the end user in case they missed some kits.

^It says they're using Hypers in the press release. I'm glad they've figured out the issue. I need some dominators.

"Our lab was able to correlate the failures to specific batches of early material, we worked very closely with Elpida to determine the root cause of the issue and to define the associated corrective actions to take. We are confident that every GT module using the Elpida Hyper IC Corsair ships from today will meet our strict quality and reliability standard."

So they're using improved elpida hypers?

I wonder if corsair will replace memory kits of customers with affected batches that still haven't failed.

They contacted me by PM, unsolicited asking if I wanted a refund for mine or a hand screened set from them or some other options. They have the best support of any company i've ever seen I'm sure they will take care of your concerns if you contact them.

Maybe in the future, but as of now i doubt corsair will release such information. A flood of RMA will be on their way

you want corsair to hire a bearded woman for their support?
dont listen to him! hes into women with hairy breasts too! just check the footage from the 2008 gooc for proof!
    heheheh remember dinos? ^^

yeah it would be great if corsair had a girl doing support on the forums... that would DEFINATELY improve peoples opinion about their support, no matter how good their opinion of corsairs support is already!

female customer support -> very good male customer support

Can you fit 6 sticks of these on the classified or are the heatsinks too big?
