Good luck brother! Looks like you've got some great stuff brewing.

Today it just occured to me that with the random EEPROM and random POST looping from 69/C1 my problem may have been a case of dead/dying/error-ing hypers.

IT WAS *SMACK*. Popped in my kit of DJ-E and i was able to bench 05 fine at 4.8, 1.4v. ONCE. Then I tuned 295 to my 1.24v sweet spot got ready to find some serious gpu clocks, went to refill my thermoses and find
I'm out of LN2. Drained 230L to find out that my hypers are dead.

Go Nazar go bro go , Good Luck.

@ Julian , and i thought me and Jamie were official hardware killers lol , i imagine you running 1.85v on those elpidas ? or more ?
Hopefully by this weekend i will have some free time , a full LN2 Dewar and i will engage PCMar05 with my Acards and SSDs for some hwbot damage + 3Ds
benchies , knock on wood that everything hopefully will survive this time , i have been killing hardware on my last LN2 benching . I just got finish talking to Jamie on the Phone and he really have killed lots of hardware lately , bad luck with his Elpidas Hypers too. Lets pray to the overclocking Gods for mercy and let live our hardware longer .

A magnifying glass and tweezers will fix that thing, I've done the same as you.

There is no problem with magnifying glass and tweezers, blade, needle etc.
The problems is with shaking fingers and weak sight
Anyway I have already asked my friends to fix it

Here is my trick. Get a mechanical pencil (the kind with refillable lead) and empty the lead from the tip. The tip is the perfect size to fit onto a socket pin and straighten it. Ive had success at least

ahh ... Intel LGA pins ... are sensitive. I rather call'em springs.
Anyway, I did a couple of surgeries and -
    - a magnifying glass (a nice clear one) - it's handy, I used it to check on the results in detail although I was able to work on the pins without it
    - the magic tools in my case were two needles with one having a bent (twisted, curved ... ) tip - IMO better and with steady fingers more precise than the pencil method

    // can I post here although I ain't a ''pirate''??
Sometimes a good slap in the face is all you need

    Bios my arss.....
I can fix this problem with a hardware mod....

Just got a sweet deal on New Fluke 52-II. Deal was even better if I bought two. I don't need two so if anyone on the team needs one I will sell it for $175 shipped US. International members will need to cover the extra cost of shipping please. My Xeon W3540 doesn't seem to like me so I will try to throw up some numbers with an i7 950.

Best things for fixing LGA sockets are Push Pins, Razor Blades and Exacto Knives. I fix probably 4-6 sockets a day with them. Dont even need a magnifying glass anymore.

Mine Classified died last week, wish it was just a bent pin. Won't respond to pwr/rst/clrcmos buttons

triple 8800Ultra would be a lot of fun, good luck!

Cooler Master is preparing yet another variation of the Cosmos full-ATX chassis, the CM Cosmos Pure. This design develops further on the aesthetics of the CM Cosmos Black Label limited edition, and makes use of matte black metal surfaces. The panels and front-door are made of slate/carbon-black coloured brushed metal, and a similar scheme continues inside. Regions of the case are located right where you'd expect them to be.

Measuring 266 x 598 x 628 mm, and weighing 16.9 kg, the CM Cosmos Pure packs enough room for E-ATX motherboards (and every ATX form-factor smaller than that), enough room is provided for even the longest of the graphics cards. Air-flow in the expansion card area is directed by a wind-flow tunnel. Fan provisions include a bottom 120 mm intake (instead of a front-intake), two 120 mm top exhausts, one rear 120 mm exhaust, and provision for an optional 120 mm fan to the HDD cage. Speaking of which, the 3.5" HDD cage can hold six drives. There are five exposed 5.25" bays, including a 3.5" to 5.25" converter bezel. Located on the top, the utility panel provides four USB ports, and one each of FireWire, eSATA, and audio I/O. Tentatively priced at 249 Euro, the CM Cosmos Pure is almost your Cosmos Black Label "unlimited edition".
