that's cool though, as long as you can turn it in within 24hrs of distribution, you still get the 1000pt bonus. that's a nice bonus on a 4k unit.
I guess if they give a couple units at a time though, it may always go past the bonus deadline. check you stats at gpugrid and see if you're getting the bonus...

I'm not getting any bonus. I usually keep 3 or 4 jobs.![]()
yeah, you're probably getting a couple jobs at a time, and they are looped back a day or 2 on standby in queue, so you're not starting them until they are a couple days old already.

ok things are looking good for me i got 2 new gtx 260s coming in. and one im going to take out the wife computer i got permission this time i just need to wait for her to come home from vacation so 3 gts 250s and 3 gtx 260s should put a good boost in the teams output im tired of slacking off . so lets see what we can really do.hey DAK i will be adding more so keep on flying i didn't like the goose dropping all over my yard so pay back will be long time coming but it will happen.
please forward this message to Da goose:
nasty critters them geese are.
OK guys..Da Goose has been messing around and has determined that GPUGRID is Core driven, shaders not so important. Too buzzed to provide scientific facts ATM ...

the buzzed one got me thinking so i back the shader down on 1 computer and up the core to 754 and boosted mem a little now im at, core 754 shader 1864 and mem at 1120 lets see how it does. by uping the core.the shader i wasn't seeing any real big changes like i did on f@h so it could be a core ocing that makes the performance gain here they are different projects, when i was playing with the core a while back the evga s could hit 780 and they was stable with gts250s

I could be wrong RR, but I think that just means they recalled the wu. for whatever reason, maybe it already got returned or something. I dont think it affects your ppd too much, it just grabs it out of your queue and replaces it with a fresh one. my clients communicate every 2.5hrs, so I'm hoping none of those recalled wu's are in the middle of processing and I lose 6 hrs of work or whatever.. hopefully it's just a wu that was distributed, sat in queue then got recalled before it started crunching.
i will put on a gas mask on when and if i do get close to yai got my goals set dak you don't make it easy but its worth a try
and some how my wife going to end up with a gts 250 and i will get that other 260 into the mix im being sneaky again

Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.

cool that answers my question too...they dont cancel out the ones that are already running. only the queued ones..
We are temporarily sending redundant results per WU.
As a consequence, when one of these results return successfully, the unsent or queued ones are canceled out, it should NEVER cancel the running ones.
This feature improves a lot the return time of the simulations we send and therefore it allows us to modify/improve/analyze the results sooner.
