    [LL V1000] Crystal Clear

And here we go, this is going to be my second mod and first attempt at watercooling.
I started out with a stock Lian Li PC-V1000B Plus II, and did the standard V1000 tinkering, as making a cut behind the 5,25" rack and enlarge the standard cut in the tilted part.

Then I found MurderMod and the MDPC-X gallery and thought "That's what I want!", why not give it a try?

    Hardware:
    MB - XFX 780i
    CPU - Intel Q6600
    GPU - XFX GTX260
PSU - Fractal Design Newton 500w
    HDD - WD250 and Samsung 500
RAM - Not decided/dead Corsairs XMS'

    Watercooling:
Full EK 780i setup, 3 blocks - nickel with plexi
EK Supreme LT - nickel with plexi
EK FC-GTX260 - nickel with plexi
    Feser X-Changer 240
    Feser X-Changer 120
    Laing DDC 18w
    EK 100 restop for DDC
    EK 250 multioption res
    XSPC White/Black tubing (Sleeved)
    Destilled water
    Various bits and pieces

    Goals:
Getting a stealthy V1000 which seems stock and aircooled on the outside but is a totaly different story inside!
    Getting a compact build!
    Making something beutiful!

I'm starting this thread almost half way in to the project, might be a bit confusing.
    Anyhow, here we go!

Testing the mockup floor, liking the outcome.

    Shiney! :-o

I was bored, went out and made a set of shrouds just for fun.

Made a cut for some light emitting diodes.

Test mounting the reservoar, loving it.

    Some wierd sketching?

Going to be the other way around.

The Laing DDC and Feser 240, new paper revision.

XFX GTX260 without the childish stickers. MB is a mockup only.

About 60 meters of sleeving, but the PSU is for another project of mine.
The extenders are for the Lian tho, 50cm ATX24/70cm PCI-E.

    Cheers.

Did some cutting today, turned out pretty nice.

I'm going to cover most panels with sheets of plexi later on.
Might even re-do the "pillar"/res-holder in plexi.

It's the largest sleeving and heatshrink in the MM Psychopack.

The jumbo is about 25-30mm in diameter.

    Edit:
Threw in some hardware to get some perspective on things.
    Dang I love that GPU!

The XFX 780i will be here sometime tomorrow, can't wait!
When I'm done with the cutting I'll prob. try and get it powdercoated black.

Felt that the case needed more open space, this mockup will be made of 7mm plexi.

Sorry about the large amount of pics, but too many>too few!

Threw the newly arrived 780i in the case.

Cut out the 7mm plexi mockup today, turned out OK.
    Also recessed the nuts.

    Change in plans, I will run this rig on destilled water and a silver coil, the project is now known as;

    Project Crystal Clear

Anyways, last night I did some digital planning of the tubing, turned out like this.

Diden't care about the angle of the blocks, thats why it's all fkd up. : D

Did some more cutting today, diden't find any skrews or bolts that would fit, lol.

Note, it's still a ruff layout, needs alot of cleaning up.

Yeah plexi would def look classy ..... think in black as tubing is white. But difficult decision is yours .......
