    Performance-pcs.com for canadian purchases?

How is performance-pcs.com for canadian purchases? will we be hit with cross border charges? or are they decent enough to know not to hit us like that? do they have their own clearing agent? how are their shipping charges too? i need some cable sleeving stuff, along with fans from them.

    thanks!

Don't ship with UPS, use United States Postal Service. If value is declared under $20 there is no TAX or customs duties applied at the border.

If you go with UPS they will apply tax and customs duty which is equal to GST. UPS is friggen brutal, avoid them when cross-border shopping.

well since its a retail outlet then they can not falsify the value of the item as that is illegal.

You WILL pay taxes and duties on ANYTHING purchased on the iternet form the USA.
They are not allowed to falsify or otherwise lie about the value of the item(s).

I ordered my HK 3.0 water block from there, no problems. They shipped first class mail which is cheap(like $10) but there's no tracking and maybe no insurance. It showed up OK though. I didn't get dinged any taxes or duty but that's Canada Post's "slip". I find that most orders under $100 get across with no fees at all. Not worth the paperwork I guess. But it's really luck of the draw and there's nothing you or the US shipper can do about it. Just be sure to use USPS and in the worst case scenario you'll pay GST+PST plus a $5 flat fee for customs clearance. Not much different from buying it locally.

Same experience I had, I think the common thing and important to mention is no insurance no tracking, just use regular USPS express mail. If you buy insurance obviously the full value gets tacked on somewhere there.

You can also use W2C. It's comparable to USPS when it comes to price.
