What kind of ram to get for X38 machine and still use it in X58 mobo

I curretnly have 4 gigs of 2 sticks of 1333 DDR3 ram in my asus Maximus (x38)
I want to upgrade to 8 gig , of 2000 DDR3 ram. but here is my problem
In February I plan to build a X58 machine and would like to move the ram to the new machine.
So can I buy 2 kits of 3x2GB and use 4 of the sticks in my current machine?

I'm currenlty not watercooled but plan to in the very near future.
I disconnected all my watercooling because I'm moving, tomorrow actualy.

also here si a link to a list of ram I'm considering getting.
    DDR3 6GB (3 x 2GB) on newegg.ca

looking at prices, is the CORSAIR DOMINATOR-GT realy worth the extra money?

Get G.Skill Trident 2000 Cas 9. Best price / performance ratio. GT isn't really worth it IMO, no.
