no way would he get that sort of canyon on single card

[edit] just checked previous run > canyon is definitely for 4x cards
thats weird :S >> why would GPUz show single card

Not to mention single card record on bot is like 33K + 2x4890's are faster and are hard pressed to touch 34,5XX at 6.4g.....

If I had to take a guess I would say he disabled one card so clocks would show up correct in GPU-Z?

    Just a guess.

The fact that he's not running XP was the other reason why it would not be single card.....

I doubt SF3D would throw away a couple 100 points on cpu score on vista for single card.

That is another WR potential chip!

So nobody tried 4x4890 quadfire with modded bios? (clocklimit issue)

Damn annoying 10 points for the WR, we spent alot of time trying to fix this of course but in the end we ran out of time.

    3DMark06:

Big thanks to everyone involved in this event, especially Macci and SF3D for making all of this possible!

An additional thanks goes to Gigabyte for providing me with hardware
    Amazing

4x4890 would have been a no-go anyway because for that we'd need the MSI GD70 and Sampsa has some bad experience with that as he killed a chip due to voltage. Ironically, Sampsa was also the first person to kill a TWKR chip. Yes, that's right ... only 99 left people .

dont you think you would beat dual X2 most likely with 3x4890s in 05/06 and who knows maybe '03 as well depending on the clocks but considering SF3D was confident of 1250/1300 core

Might be ... but I reckon time restriction added up to the problems with the 4890's on thursday were part of the reason too.

I think not, check Mike's 50K '05 score, it has his email address as user name, this score has number 11971624 as user name.

Guess.who?> Dr Who? maybe? Or just a fake considering the CPU clock speed if these are displayed right.

Did he do anything special to poor TWKR or it just died?

I think that 06 has to be fake
Unless the clocks are being read incorrectly
I certainly hope its fake, :P
Dont want AMD to lose the WR already.

37215 score was done with 2 x 4870X2 cards, like someone already said. CPU was cabable of doing 6350 CPU test and NB was almost stable at 4700MHz.. so more cold and this can be a winner.
Have to try some single card action with GTX 295 at 900MHz+ when I have time.

Guys! Where are the pics from the event. Some video footage is also good to have..not from sauna though
You are as good as your samples are!
