you forgot to mention the kingston's head...that's the tweak that makes my 32M that fast
too bad that in the next weeks SB will kick our asses.

this 950 at the first touch seems not that good, it was so damn hot - that is a good thing - but was a poor clocker.
4 weeks ago i figured out that the problem was the IHS...checked with the calibre and find out that this CPU have the worst IHS i've ever seen...i have lapped the CPU and than retried the CPU using the Single Stage...in 10 minutes i find out that i've gained 150/200 MHZ only with lapping.
if this gain will remain the same probably this chip will bench 32M at around 5400 MHZ at LN2...i need to refill the dewar and give it a try.
BTW i'm still on 45nm because the only 980x i tried was a PURE CRAP, CB in triple channel around -120° C, crappy uncore, poor ram clocking and with VCORE 1.85 volt reach less than 5.7 GHZ for 32M and 5.4 GHZ for vantage...the only good thing is that i haven't bought it
i don't wanna spend 1000 € and get a crap CPU and in any case being pwned by guys that use A0 chips.
i do overclock because i like it and because it makes me happy...i don't care if my name isn't in the HWbot "hall of fame"...i don't need to be #1 or use high end stuff to enjoy the overclock.
    sorry for the OT.

    ahahahah

i also don't know a single word of chinese but i know windows quite good, so the language used isn't a big problem
you should try TW 2003 server, it's a bit faster than the other versions i've used in the past.

We should work on Sandy-Bridge-support for CPU-Tweaker.

@George: Sandy Bridge meets Super Pi: http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/be...-cpu-takt.html
    The Initial value finished

Have been playing in the HCC contest a bit. Flares + Xpower = efficiency, me thinks

have you got one of those crazy minds that can compare benchmarks at different frequencies against each other?

how do you know if 4450~ is efficient, i really suck at comparing obscure frequencies

    Thanks.

    Ehh that result is so/so.

I screwed up my OS by that point, lost 3 secs.

    Should be doable with 4350.

Just compare the results in this thread (low-clock, therefore tweaked) to your own score. Also comparing how you stack up in the hcc contest (time and cpu speed).

My definition of 'efficient' is 'it does not suck monkeyballs'. Yes, I set bars low.

    Nice

There's one loop after 'efficiency - yes', namely 'beat youngpro?'.

The answer is always no, though ... so i don't think it's necessary to include.

@all: CPU-Tweaker is not ready for Sandy Bridge yet, so let's wait a bit.

@Massman: Should I be afraid about my hwbot account, if I tell you that the indispensable tab CPU-Z/Memory is unfortunately not included?
