Think I have it all working now. Probably be a while before the next WU are submitted for the 2 other cores show up on stats.
In addition to Core 2 Duos, I have a 1.8ghz Athlon64. Is that even worth putting on this?

Why, is athlon64 more suitable for those projects? its only 1.8ghz and a single core....

Battery ... give it a try and see how it works for yourself. Don't let vaio change your mind ... he is not and will not join team XS, he has his own team but likes to troll around in our threads.

Dimes does not take up much of the CPU. Every few seconds it does a trace to some other computers around the world. On my windows boxes I run Dimes along with Boinc or other projects. On your computer it will show some nice graphics on where it has traced. They can be displayed as ISP name or the names of the countries. It's kind of interesting and gives a person a little more bang for the cost of electricy when running a slower computer. Dimes on any computer should get you about 4000 points per day.

There is also a Boinc project call HAL that does not use much of the CPU. It is not in the vault but the link is http://freehal.net/freehal_at_home/

So a person could run Einstein, Dimes, and Hal on one computer. Hal and Dimes would have little impact on Einstein. Anyway it just a way to help justify having a slower computer powered up.

Well, my time with boinc and einstein@home is over. Simply put, there doesn't appear to be any means of owning a single account with multiple computers attached. I used the same email address for two computers on the same network here, detached/reattached multiple times.

Take care all. Back to rc5-72 for me.

Sorry to hear you frustration go the better of you on this project.
It is possible to have multiple computers reporting through the same account, just not sure what the issue with your account is. When you re-attached did you check the option button that said you were using an existing account. Are you sure that both computers are signed up to BOINC with the same exact credentials?
I currently have three copmputers all reporting to the same account and I have had an additional three computers in the past that were also reporting to this same account.

    I will try again.

Getting them added... seems to be working.

It appears you successfully have two computers on a single account now.

Should be able to add your third system (laptop?) the same way if you wanted.

    go go go team XS
In just under one month we have climbed from team position 411 to 335
Special gratz to skycrane for keeping this project alive for us !
I think glennpat is racing Paladin to 1 million but I can't be sure.
Snow Crash is mashing the GPU WUs and BatteryOperated is showing us that perseverance (how many accounts do you have? lol) pays off.
Great work everyone, if we keep this pace up we will be in the top 50 RAC shortly and will continue to see our all-time position moving up fast.

I had moved over 16 cores from Aqua. They ran out of the work units that earn more points. I may move them back there at some point, but it is really more fun here .

To get them put your Cross-project ID place of the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Your link will then be what is inside the " " below.

One place you can find Your Cross-project ID is in your account page on Einsten where it list Cross-project statistics. Mine is 34 charaters made up of numbers and letters. There was no set up to do. I checked a few of my accounts and they all seem to list the Cross-project id so it does not matter where you get it.

If you right click on my Mega stats and go to properties it will show my link with my Cross-project ID of 3e60152ecae4692542a0a6b5b0adde22.

And if just one of those AC compressors goes bad it can flood the server room with oil forcing them to throw away all the equipment, file an insurance claim, and buy new...

Happens more often than you'd think.

Yes, slowing a little to save some elec $ for medical bills and keep the fans quieter for the baby. I'm watching you though. Last check was 15 days out. I have a feeling you'll see more than just my magicjack Vista system running before then.
