    [BenchBros] :: Corsair DOMINATOR-GT 2000C7 on Ice T30 TEC ::

Last Week I get a new DOMINATOR-GT Kit from RMA (first Kit has a death stick after a month)

    Batch NO. is: 09191054

Yesterday I spend some Time to Test the new Kit on normal Aircooling

I only Tested with SuperPi 4M and SuperPi 32M

    Air Tests:

    2274 7-8-7-20 1T

    2250 7-8-7-20 1T

And today I some testing with the Corsair Ice T30 TEC Sub-Ambient Cooling-System

    2370 7-8-7-20 1T

    2334 7-8-7-20 1T

The Ice T30 helps much to push the VDimm higher :ocx0946:

    I love this Kit

Hehe, came in just in time for your Benching weekend / birthday party...

After seeing those nice results of the memory, I'm expecting some great results now!

    We hope so too

But I think there is no Divider / Multiplier combination wich makes it possible to squezze out this Max. of the Memory

That's true, did you test for tighter subtimings at the frequency you are aiming for? Maybe even on RE for some 01 action?

I am also suprised about this but with Ice T30 the GT's can handle much more Voltage

Nice results. I think I'm a little IMC limited (too cold). I can get 32M to pass at 2250 7-8-7-20 with 1.79V (225BCLK X 23 2:10 divider), trying to push further and it looks like the IMC on my W3540 can't take the data rate. CAS 8 only gives me 1-2 BCLK more at this point..

Basicly there are only two problems - High DDR clocks needs high uncore clock and only a few X58 mobos can do DDR2000+
Great CPU with air cooling 4500MHz of Uncore

only a few can do 2000+?? are you sure, In my oppinnion every Board is capable of doing this because not the Board is the Limiting Factor!

and, CPU is not on Air only Memory is on Air

    (CPU Still on Dualstage -80°)

    Very nice results indeed
Looks like you gonna get in Top5 32m easily with a good CPU and this awesome Ram
And donīt expect much more from LN2 than with a good Dualstage, i may be wrong or just had "bad luck" but didnīt see much improvement from moving to LN2 from my dualstage, that also does ~-85°C with my W3540. Itīs more like you need less Voltage with more cold, but frequency wonīt go (much) higher what iīve been testing so far with i7 Cpuīs.

It depends on the CPU what you have!

On our 965XE D0 the difference between -135° LN2 and -80° Dualstage is very hugh!

You are aware of the fact that the Classified overvolts massively on Vdimm, right? 1.88v is probably 1.95v real

    no way
    mine is spot on!!!

if you load it up with high clocks and vdimm it is always on the money with my board
with a 3GB kit at stock it overvolts a lot more...once i start increasing the MHz and volts it drops a bit so it really depends on clocks and what kit you are on
    Team.AU
    Got tube?
    GIGABYTE Australia
Need a GIGABYTE bios or support?

I actually tested the Classified only a few days ago:

    Vcore: 1.48v bios = 1.55v DMM
    Vdimm: 1.60v bios = 1.66v DMM
    Vtt: 1.45v bios = 1.5v DMM

The voltage is stable, but it's most definitly NOT equal to what you set in the bios.
