Yep used a router with a 1/4" bit. The first time i tried it, i thought.. hmmm lets cut all 4 (ye i made 4 ) in one go... it failed miserably, the aluminum melted to the blade, got all clogged up and in the end the blade bent, then i thought.. lets cast them out of aluminum.... here are the pics i wasn't going to post.. well that failed to.. All it did was burn the mold, and a wet sand mold was to soft to use and i wasn't patient enough to make a plaster oneSo how did you cut/make those beauties? You said a router?
so just gave it a shot cutting them one at a time and worked a charm

the Bay area cover, i see that you've set a guide to make straight cuts with the router... how did you control the length of the cut as in the start/end positions? eyeballing it?
why did you try the cast HDD panels if you've already gotten them made?
why so much effort into making a fancy HDD holding panel if they will be covered?
what are you using to make nice sharp bends on your alum sheets? jsut a sharp corner and a MDF board? or do you have a brake?

1) Those are very restrictive elbows. Kinda defeats the purpose of using fat 1/2" tubing.
2) Why not just use the original GPU block ports? Is it a problem of running into the pink tube?

the reason for using those that 90c angle is becuase the compression fittings dont fit on the top they hit the card If i had knew about the porblem i whould have bought some nice 45/90c barbs.
I guess when i install my new MOBO and RAM and CPU i few months down the line i can replace them

Ok the build is done, tested the wiring. lighting and fans, just need to fill it up in the morning and leak test then i should be ready to go

Ok, here is the work log from the past 3 days, i know i should have done it day by day.. but ever tried to surf through hundreds of pics, crops, edit, re size and organize all from a net book and little touch pad
So i got up bright and early Tuesday, and got straight to work with drain most of the water out in my room into some jugs, then took the case down to the kitchen where i took the tubing out
washed the Pump top, and cleaned all the gunk off the blocks,
all the dust has built up just over 4 months , so got the hoover on it
Cleaned the thermal paste off the CPU, and realized that silver cleaner really makes copper shine =]
At this point the kitchen and dinning room was just full of PC parts, looks like a bomb had hit it
Once i had cleaned the MOBO with canned air and cleaned the blocks, i put it back together and took some photos outside
Cleaned the thermal paste off the GPU and put it back together again
I use OCZ freeze for the CPU and GPU and them Artic silver 5 on the RAM chips and parts on the MOBO
Cleaned the GPU up and put the block back on, i changed the oriantaion of the barbs 4 - 5 times after this as things didnt fit and tubing wouldn't bend etc, when i get the new hardware in a month or so i will get some 45c fitting
Cleaned the CPU block and put that back together with the new compression fittings, was worried at first that they werent going to fit
Once all that was done i put everything on the MOBO tray, and routed some tubing from the CPU to the GPU, also ran my 24pin ATX extenion cable under the MOBO as there was no way in hell that would of worked once everything was fitted (there is ther pic from the other day with no blur this time )
Now it was time for the sleeving of the 8pin CPU and the 6 + 8pin PCI-e cables, my original plan was to sleeve each wire but.. i didnt have enough 4mm sleeving so i just did them in one go
I checked to make sure the 240 rad and PSU wud fit, they did which was good, but it ment the 2nd mid plate holes wouldnt line up *fail* so i had another idea to use blue acrylic to make the midplate
Put the pump back together and put barbs on the 360 rad with lots of PTFE tape as last time i did it it leacked then connected them togther and put them into the case, was a close fit
This is the pic at the end of day one (well at 12.30 at night )
Do to the direction of the top SATA power connecter needed to changed the direction of the others that were at 90c, was more difficult than a thought it would be
i tried to sort cable managment but with 4 x HDD, 1 x SSD and 1 x DVD drive all with cables its a bit difficult.. but o well out of site out of mind
Once i did all the cabling i found the wire wasn't long enough so i had to join it, used juction boxes and it fitted all neatly back in place
Ironically fans didnt fit in my fan grill due to depth so i used acrylic and some spare blue LED's
I had chopped all molex's off the ends of my wires to save on space, so i made this, just one molex with a female connector on one end then all the cables in the case go to a male connector and simply pushes in, and they had yellow black and red

Got up at 7 this morning and got straight to work with filling the loop up with Pink dye and Ultra pure water
I had jsut enough space the squeeze tubing in the top to fill it

looks great - but is it just me or is the pink tubing that goes between the GPU card's fittings pinched?? and have you thought about using cold cathodes under your mid plate rather than 4 LEDs? I wonder if that would diffuse the light more maybe?

Is that Feser 3/8 ID - 1/2 OD pink tubing? With Feser compressions?

How was the 1/2 OD tubing to work with? Did it kink easilly?
Wondering because I can't decide wether I should get 1/2 OD or 3/4 OD for my TJ07 build.

Thankyou, about the tubing.. the Pink(purple it says =/) its very high quality i was very impressed it bends well and looks great in normal light.. but under UV it looks very pink maybe not to some people taste (i will explain in a bit) and they are Feser fitting, very good quality and cheaper than bitspower to.. The blue tubing is XSPC and is fantastic very very impressed.Nice build!
Now on to what i have learned from my build...
-That cheap 90c barbs are very very very restrictive to flow
-Pink looks nice in the day.. but not so nice under UV
-Dont put fingers into fan blade to see how fast its going, it cuts fingers and breaks fan blades
-Always think of everything ahead don't think "it will be fine if i leave it"
-Make sure tight bends are secure to the barbs, and if out of site use jubilee clips
-Fan controllers are awesome
-HDD's get very hot in a small place
-Making PC makes a lot of mess
Things i am, going to do now
-Replace pink tubing with orange (so blue and orange loops)
-Change 90c fittings to bitspower fittings and put a 45c fitting on the top of the graphics card so it can go from the top of the GPU to the CPU instead of looping
-Maybe get a new pump because my current one is making weird noises
-Find a way to cool hard drives better
1 -2 months down the line
-Get i7, X58 MOBO (watercool it), 6Gb DD3 RAM, and a RAM cooler
-Maybe SLI
