Yeah but that PC only has 4 WUs and all of them will be finished in a few hours.

Im guessing that I have hit my quota simply because all the other PCs have so many WUs

I just want to keep my crunchers crunching!

Has that machine been returning error results? If so, WCG automatically ratchets down the number of WUs in a day on the machine to reduce the overall error count. As it starts to return valid results the per day number will go up again.

Could that be why my new Linux boxes could not get very many days worth of WUs? I had to set the work buffer to 10 days and still only got 3 days on one and 2 days 16 hours on the other. Has not changed in 3 days. After they return enough valid WUs they might get more?

New installs usually have much shorter queues (even if it's set to 10 days) for the first day or two until they've reported some WU's and BOINC figures out how much work they can handle.

As for the emu running out of WU's, I'd be checking to see if it has any invalid WU's, or if there is some limitation in the profile as to how much work it'll do.

I recently had this with a machine I moved back to my XS account. It worked itself out after the first four WUs. Seems the servers want proof of the machine's capability, even if it has seen it before on your account.

Let us know if this doesn't straighten itself out. It should..

    Thanks guys.

I think you were all onto something. I think it was because it aborted some WUs due to missed deadline so rather than sending me a shedload it only sent 4WUs for the four cores.

It's all good now back to a couple of days worth.
