Oh hello again, it is me, and I bring good news!

I spent $4 on a tube of Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant and used it on both my Radiator Barbs, I let it cure for 24 hours, and then I used 2 tubes of Superglue on the outside crease of the Barb. I can safely say the Radiator seems fixed. I have gone 60 minutes with no leaks, despite my banging, stretching, bending, and general abuse of the entire system. There was a small leak off the Reservoir, but that was due to a screw not being tight enough. I tightened it 1/4 more turns and the leak is gone!

I also just threw a pile of UV lights into the case and put on the Window Panel and took 2 pics, just to get a rough idea of what we will be dealing with in 24 hours once the full leak test is finished. They do look really orange, however, it is that really nice orange everyone likes looking at haha. The mobo and other parts glow the same orange, so it actually worked out pretty good.

They should look odd because they aren't G1/4. They are the old 1/4" NSPM the difference is the thread count. It sounds like you got it fixed though, so good work

NCIX says the Radiator is G1/4 so I am not sure about that..

The 'bottom' fitting has always fit right, didn't even need to be tightened that much. It is just the top that looks weird. It looks as if the drill that cutsa out the threads went in on an angle at first and then was corrected mid-way through.

Anyways, I guess it's been about 3 hours with no leaks now! Looking good!

pulled from Swiftech's site: 1/4" NPSM threaded hubs (BSPP and G1/4 compatible) for maximum compatibility with various tubing installations

I ran into the somewhat same problem myself. I didn't see they weren't G1/4 either. The major difference is a difference of 1 TPI. That is why when you thread the fitting in, it feels a little too tight. I had to add my top and change some things out, so i got those adapters and felt much nicer when I did

Yep, doesn't really matter seeing no leaks and it works. Good job on the fix

Alright, so getting all the air out seems to be a problem. Is this something that just solves itself over time? Right now I am tapping the tubes every so often to break the tiny air bubbles off of it haha. I guess it probably doesn't matter too much!

Yea, takes about 5 hours to get fully bleed. Make certain that res is 3/4 full otherwise it will keep pulling air in. Also tipping your comp forward helps to get the air out of the rads and I thought that powering the pumps on and off a few times helped, but that could have been wishful thinking

Do you have pictures of what this looks like? Or a build log?

I actually have a 3rd side panel due to a shipping error that I get to keep. It is the same black brushed-aluminum the entire TJ07 case is made out of. I was thinking of having it cut into strips to be used as my flooring, and internal siding, rather than the cardboard, but am unsure of how to cut it, and how much it would cost.

Alright, good news for those of you who wish to see me dead! I just took a nice huge electrical shock from the 680 volt inverter used to power my Cold Cathode lights. Not only has it made my right hand and wrist feel really weird, even still now as I type, I also saw the spark/arc of the current travel into my fingers hahaha.

It's only 5 milliamps, so if I remember anything from my electrician days, I can't die from it, just get hurt a bit.

Ouch, Kuntz ... be careful! We don't want to lose the most entertaining work log writer we've seen in a while. Any damage to anything else?

Nope! Everything is fine. If I touched one of the bare wires, the light would dim a lot, so I wanted to see what would happen if I touched both, but on the same line. I got the lines mixed up and grabbed one bare from each and the circuit decided to use my body to complete it rather than the light.

I blame Logisys and their incompetence. Who gives 10 inches of wire on a light? Seriously..

edit-I modded 8 lights (4 inverters) to run like this! In the picture is just one, with the PCI Slot switch removed.

Sorry my camera went missing when I moved, Havent unpacked most of the boxes, still messing around with furniture placement but I will see if i can get the dimensions for it and make you another as I have a few spare acrylic pieces. 2' x 2' xD. Dont cut the extra side panel! try and mod it to make it look nice, Or maybe so you have one windowed and one not.

Aw that would be sweet! I actually spilled/leaked a lot of coolant onto my cardboard paper stuff so now it's a weird white color hahaha.

It didn't really hurt, was more of a surprise than anything.

Well I bought 16 gauge copper-twisted speaker wire, but ran into the problem that no matter how I extended the wires, the lights would not function correctly. They would only light up very dimly, and only at one end. So I took the left-over Corsair Molex connectors I had and cut the usable wires from it and used that. The Corsair wires look to be 16 or 14 gauge and are made some shinny metal (Silver? Something other than Copper).

And now they all work perfectly fine!
