    Last sanity check before purchasing

Alright this should be the last thread created by me for a while (hopefully), just want to make sure everything is in order before purchasing.

    Pump: DDC3.25
    Pump Top: EK-DDC X-TOP V2 G1/4 -or- EK-DDC X-TOP G3/8
WB: EK-Supreme HF - Full Nickel
    Tubing: Primochill LRT
Fans: Gentle Typhoon AP-15 [push/pull] (or maybe I should get YL D12SH12 and save a small fortune?)
    Rad: XSPC RX360
    Fittings: Stainless steel compression
Res: eh, don't think it really matters

Going to finish the pricing tonight and maybe order this weekend. With luck it'll be up by May 1 so the rig can get to crunching
Please let me know if you notice anything wrong/off.

    TIA,

    redmaw

    Just one thing there.
Silicone tubing have lots of pores.
You'll be finding yourself topping up coolant quite often.

    Re: Fans.

Definitely keep those GT's in there. You are going to love 'em for years, and will never think twice about the few extra $'s you spent.

^ I certainly hope so, I've yet to hear them though.

    ---

Everything's finally arrived, hopefully I'll have time to put it together on Tuesday Quick question, what's the recommended way to apply thermal paste to a WB? I noticed EK recommends a cross pattern the manual but I think the standard line down the middle or dot in the center should work just as well and be simpler.

    TIA,

as long as you don't use too much, or too little, it don't matter how you apply it.

Pretty much what I thought, thanks millertime.

I was planning using a second psu to run the fans for the rad and pump but it doesn't want to stay on. The best it will do is run for a few seconds and then shut off, any one know a fix to this?

Did you jump the green wire and the black wire on the PSU?

yeah, tried both a piece of wire and paper clip.

Edit: Figured it out. The psu had a minimum load requirement so ended up returning it for a slightly more expensive 400w corsair unit.
