Sadly I as much as would really like to go to this I have had some major changes here at home that have to do with my mother suffering from Alzheimer’s/Dementia and the need to pull her out of the care facility she was in, long story..

But she is now back with me and it will not be possible to leave at this time

Dang it I was really looking forward to meeting everyone and see some major benching

I also take care of an aging Mother and understand your situation..it is tough my friend but we do what we can.
I have a sister coming to stay here so I'm lucky in this.

i know the feeling. had to take care of my grandma for 2 weeks after hip surgery. and shes a lil off her rocker if you know what i mean.

@Buckeye - man, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My grammy had the same thing and had to stay with my mom for the last year or so til she passed.

Just bought my tickets, didn't have much to choose from. Land in Detroit at 12:30 local time and fly out Monday at 5pm. Looks like I'll be spending Monday in the airport
