    Gigabyte GA-EX58 Extreme Waterblocks

    Hello everyone,

Just trying to find out what would be better. I was going to go with a UD5 and full EK blocks, but thats not really neccesary. A cheap x58 Extreme is too good to miss, and I was going to use the stock waterblock, but it will be rubbish won't it?

This is where this comes in - http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product_...block-POM.html

Are they good? Better than the stock block? Restictive?

Do I Really need to cool the board at all to get around 4GHz on a D0 920?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

As I understand it, the stock Gigabyte waterblock is aluminum - plan accordingly.

I used the stock air cooling and put a antec spot cool blowing on the HS. Temps are fine, but haven't got to overclocking yet. Yea, sorry, life interferes with OC.
All stock for now, no need for more, but it's gonna be soon methinks.

you can use cool the nb with another block. i use the enzotech block..

the i920 D0 would easily reach 4ghz with the right bios settings.
