    Great stuff mAJORD!

I'm still running G1 Brisbane, so this Regor will be plenty for me.

    Fantastic work mAJORD!

Now we can clearly see what K10 was an improvement compared to K8! All that was hidden under slow L3 cache and low clocks of the first Barcelonas.

BTW what os have you used for that comparison? 32bit or 64bit?

Also please do simulation of mobile parts with this core. First try to find lowest stable voltage @3GHz, then try the same @2.4GHz (reasonable clock for new mobile part from AMD)
    THANKS!

well, I guess I will have to try one. Just saw it on the egg. Waiting on free shipping to appear. hope it over clocks well, I will play with it for a few and then it goes in the HTPC.

Simply not true. PhenomMsrTweaker has always supported all K10 CPUs - you simply chose the wrong setup (64bit on a 32bit Windows, I guess). I don't even perform a check whether the CPU is supported...

On the desktop It's aimed at the E5xxx aand 6xxx series.

it will also form the basis of the upcoming laptop platform though, replacing Griffin. It will be quite a leap from there, so should allow some decent competition.

My appologies. I messed up and did try to install x64 version accidently the words CPU type not recognised instantly made me think it was the CPU, when you obviously mean no 64bit.. I'll report any problems with it shortly and PM whoever asked about it.

Anyway, UPDATE. initial undervolting results, as requested by Lightman:

    Notes etc:

Power measured @ the wall. PSU is a 550w S12+ with PFC, so power readings should be reasonably accurate..

NO CPU reading taken as a reference, obviously it's not to be taken TOO seriously as the memory, chipset at the least will probably be in a lower power state with no CPU, but it at least gives a worst case idea.

    Excellent work mAJORD! Fantastic!

Undervolting looks good to me, yields decent power savings.

    P.S.
I forgive you about the PhenomMsrTweaker mix-up.

    Pretty amazing results!

It looks like at 3GHz 1.15V it fits nicely under 45W bracket and 2.4GHz 1V mobile part shouldn't be a problem for AMD at all!

Many thanks mAJORD for your hard work!

so far the highest i have gotten stable on mine is 3.82 with 1.47V.

However, with the rated max of 1.425 for the voltage i am going to try and stay within the envelope given which i am currently sitting at 3.75Ghz at 1.425 volts. Either way it was a nice little upgrade from my 7750 that was maxing out at 3.2.

Curious, anyone get any OC headroom with enabling ACC?

this is what i have going so far. this passed an hour of OCCT but i did not get in screenshot, my bad. Either way the chip seems to be doing well. I am having to run 1.49v though to get this high and my load temps on OCCT and Core Temp reach up to 35c or so after an hour. ill post more as i get em

There is a folder for OCCT (I think in my documents) that saves the screen shots of each voltage reading etc.

Regor is a nice chip, it was above my expectations tbh...

Review in swedish so take cover

My Regor was fully stable with volt decreased from 1.336 to 1.136. Overclocked to 3705mhz I had to use 1.424v, to reach higher I need to go beyond 1.5v+. I could easily do benches on 3800mhz+ but it wasn't stable...

yeah that is what I am finding as well. ~3.7 seems to be about as far as you can go at the 1.425v but beyond that does need a bump to keep stable. Great chip though i agree
