One of my UT2003 clan members told me today that one of his friends runs a heating and cooling business and has a whole lot full of old compressors, refrigerators and ac units. He said he could take pretty much anything he wants cuz its all getting disposed of shortly. The 2 things that cuaght his eye was an old military frezer used to freze titanium bolts...its rated -85c and a medical reefrigerator rated somewhere in the -80 to -90c range. Ill have more info about it in a few days. He has access to milling equipment and the two of them are gonna build 2 units. One sent to me to test and if it works properly then i keep it and they will make another one for themselves... the good part is i get one at Absolutely no cost to me whatsoever

Although the original refrigerant these units were designed to run on does cost upwards of $1000.00 a jug in my part of country, there are manufactured blends produced nowadays that work just as efficiently and get just as cold, yet cost considerably less than what the original refrigerant costs.
