    jokes asside..

the 3.2 vs 3.25 isnt something you need to go out of you way for.

Also the 3.2 has history of reliability.

The 3.25's are new so there is no history behind it yet. (unless dean wants to share the return rates they get with the PMP-400)
(Jab-tech john told me the return rates on the 3.2, and its not bad at all, which is why i recomend them.)

In all honestly, unless your like me or WL that loves to tear apart there rigs the moment after we built it, get the 3.2.

    Its a "safer" bet.

Didn't Hondacity run a quick flow rate test on a loop? I thought it was really small and insignifcant between the two pumps. Something like less than .1GPM difference that would amount to even less than nothing if you start converting that to temperature differences.

Yep, performance vise I don't think it matters. I was just interested in noise and the electronics if there was any significant changes. I don't like that they mixed colors on the impeller, it doesn't look as good as the only blue ddc3.2 impeller on a plexi-top.

Bah! Your gonna make me get medieval on you, aren't you?

I have 2 Flotec Cyclones I use to pump the basement out when the house tries to imitate the Titanic (one of the reasons for my nick). It wouldn't be too hard to put them into a loop at all, though I don't know if it'd (the loop, not the pump) survive.

Omg, Just when i have decided to go with the DDC3.2 and made my order the XSPC rads got out of stock. But now they are back and I asked Tom to hold the order if I came up with anything else I would need (while i was waiting for the xspc). And now THIS happens

They got the DDC3.25 in stock... DOHH, now I'm back to square one... Although this will be creeper then getting one from the US that i was originally planed.
    http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...oducts_id=1182

    The ddc3.2 costs 50£ and the 3.25 costs 65£

Should you go with the new one when you just can change in the cart? And also, the whining noise some people have been complaining about isn't that just regular DDC3.2 whine or is the 3.25 worse?

But now when i can get them at the same place isn't the smart choice to get the new one? I doubt this revision is worse.

Every first hand account I've heard thus far says the 3.25 is more or less pointless.

Unless you have lots of money and just don't really care. Then it might just give you that extra 1/10 of a degree at some point in time lol.

Its not the performance that im interested in. It is if its quieter or have better electronics. That is things that matter one 1c here or there isn't that important.

I can't see the electronics being any "better". Companies will use the cheapest electronic components they can get their hands on as long as they meet the average MTBF (Mean Time Before/Between Failures) they have spec'd.

I think this pump will have had a marginal change to increase it's performance *slightly* but I feel it's way overpriced for such a small change.

As for the noise issue, just get one of the _many_ anti-vibration devices that are out there for the 3.2

    Just my two cents...
