Galaxy GTS250 1 or 2 $65 or $130 after MIR shipped free at Newegg

    Galaxy 25SFF6HMUEXI GTS250 for $104.99 - $40MIR = $65 shipped free

The MIR is good for up to 2 cards, so you could buy 2 for $210 - ($40MIR x2) = $130 shipped free!

    Not bad methinks.

MIR are usually good for 1 item, unless otherwise stated.

    So two would be $65 + $105 = $170.

    That is very true, however:

    Go for it!

I didn't read the MIR conditions Just lazy this morning.

These are on par w/ a 9800gtx+? I don't know how they compare. If I didn't have my 8800gts g92 still, I'd jump on this as it would be an epic HTPC video card for the money.

I wonder how these in SLI would compare to a gtx260/275.

ATM I'm on the fence. It's a pretty good deal and I have been debating whether to try my hand at building PCs for some cash on the side. Where I live chumps buy $900+ "gaming rigs" off CL, they typically consist of a P4 or 3500+ and an equally weak 8600gt. So if I can piece together a couple machines now and then, especially when I can find "b1tch1n deals" I may be able to make a couple bucks and sell a competent rig for a fair price...

    @ $65/GTS 250 I can't imagine they'll ever sell for less than that. AFAIK, GTS 250 = 9800GTX+.

guys just have someone in the USA buy the card and ship it to you and handle the rebate, once the rebate is authorized and they get the money just have them paypal it to you.
but of cours eyou pay shipping, so take it out of the rebate or what ever.

but jesus thats cheap for a GTS250,, good god.

Its worth it if its basically 9800gtx+ in SLI. You can't fine ANY solution with that sort of power for $130.

If I had a cheap rig to play with that supported SLI, I think I'd jump on this just to test it out.

Under terms and conditions it says " Limit two (2) rebates per person, address, company, or household ". So if you want two your good to go.

Wow, good deal for folders and BOINC GPU crunchers!

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

    Exclamation NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250: A Rebadged 9800 GTX+

    there better...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250: A Rebadged 9800 GTX+

NVIDIA introduced a slightly faster version of the 9800 GTX called the 9800 GTX+. Note that this was the smallest name change in the timeline up to this point, but it was the biggest design change; this mild overclock was enabled by a die shrink to 55nm.

All of that brings us to today where NVIDIA is taking the 9800 GTX+ and calling it a GeForce GTS 250.

Enough about names, here's the card review:

for the money its a complete steal... i myself would only get the 1 gig version for higher resolutions.
