I don't wanna know the hard way! Welcome guys! Yeah Chumbucket I like the graph. Noticed it too when I first installed it. Turned up to 100% and the prettiness is gone... When crunching I noticed that everything is stable when you turn the RAM down a few notches. Crunching away on my Q9650 now at 4.050Ghz.

    Thanks for the Guide!

Shame on me for only starting now with sharing my CPU power..

Never got over 30% CPU usage.. what a waste

    thanks for helping!

On Boinc Manager or WCG Manager under Advanced>Preferences>Processor Usage make sure % of the Processors and % of CPU time are 100% unless there are heat issues then you can reduce the CPU time a little. The graph shows it is cutting back and not running 100%.

    Thanks guys.

I'm looking forward to doing my part. It's quite an addiction already planning a cheap cruncher build for a little project over the summer.

Oh, just realized - with the new page, the join button is in the middle instead of in the right column like in the first pic of the first post.

Pretty easy to find so i don't think it matters... but then again it's just one pic so it wouldn't be hard to update. Just wanted to point it out and see what you thought.

I updated the guide so that people will increase the CPU time from 60% to 100%.

It was stickied beforehere. But now it's added on Sierra Bound's "Everything you need to know about WCG" thread. But I'd have no problem with another sticky.
