I have my system running stably at 4.475 MHz. (23 x 195) (LinX 100 runs withVcore at 1.38 volts and Max core temperatures at 74°C).
My memory timings are 7-8-7-20 and I have 6 GB Corsair dominator DDR3 ratings for speed of 1866 MHz presently running at 1945 MHz. Even with all tests LinX, memtest and prime showing no issues, am I risking my memory at these speeds and timing settings?
    Appreciate any input.

Guys quick question. Why does the EVGA E760 I/O shield plate come with some of the holes covered/plated? Do you just fold them back and forth until they snap off? I don't get why some of the holes are covered??

I thought that the flaps were for grounding purposes? I always bent my back far enough so that they contact the IO terminals to ground them against the case.

hey guys just got my 2nd 5870 and want to make sure im getting it right. I should put them in the first pci-e slot and the third slot correct?(the one after the PCI slot).

Also can anyone point me in the direction of a crossfire bridge that will be long enough? the one that came with the card is too short for this configuration.

How long of a bridge do you need? I might have one.

according to some of the forums they say 100mm or 10cm (asus and msi and xfx) seem to make them

From holding it up next to mine it looks like it will work. It came with a DFI mobo. I had Crossfire setup on it. Only choice I see for a 100mm is ebay.

I turn that off on my other mobos anyway. Makes for a bit faster boot up.

I hate to give up so early, but I can't get past 144 BCLK on stock voltages, and after perusing this thread I am at a loss for what voltages to tweak...

e760 gskill trident 2000mhz cl9. Mem div at 2:10 so it's only at 720... err, 1440... using the xmp profile. turbo mode off. HT on.

for anyone who knows what they're doing and forgot what stock voltages are,

And mem (no bios template right now sorry. I know I need that):

So yeah, haven't been able to put any effort into this for almost a year; I try to keep up on this thread but I didn't bookmark the relevant posts. Thanks for reading.

    MIPS blocks.

    CPU: 33C
    VREG: 39C
    System: 38C

Cores are between 45 and 48 C. EK Classified Supreme.

Stock was at like, 78 for the vreg and 55+ for NB; that's when I stopped using it. I could wait for the blocks and the water...

so ure prb is getting 2k c9??
    whats ure vcore for 4.2ghz
    whats ure vtt for 1600mhz

then can tell u whats ure vtt
if its 0mv for 1600 then its around +150-200
if its 25mv then its around 225mv
    etc etc

vcore stick to rounded numbers aka 1.2v, 1.25v,1.3v,1.35v for now

    for 2k c9
    the rtl's should be 62,64,66
    mch strap 1600
pwm frequency is where a lot of ppl run issue with
not all their boards can run low pwm frequency
but typically should be good at stock up to 2090

    if 200 bclk is hard
then ure proc is a dud dude.

this is what i faced testing 10-15 co/do's

Yeah, I had a feeling it might be a trash proc, but, I haven't given up yet. I also haven't tried any of those other settings because I wasn't sure what to go with. I'll try what you suggested and post some more. Thanks!
