There is a setting in the BIOS in that area that states VGA BIOS something and it defaults to auto. Try playing around with it.
Again, I'm not asking for tips on how to speed up resume. I'm asking how long resume takes for other classified owners so that I can judge whether theirs something wrong with my particular board, or, my results are typical of other classified 760 boards. I'll even settle for the number of seconds from power button to desktop reappearing.

    New EVGA X58 Classified Owner

My Classified 760 Arrived Today. I will post some pictures when the battery for my camera is finished charging.

No sign of any transit damage to the box or the board. i think EVGA has redesigned the packaging for the 760's

Question for Classfied owner, I saw there are 2 8-pins power plugs on this board, is it necessary to plug in both? if so how do you get around it when your PSU only have one 8-pin plug?

Nope, with one 8-pin works just fine

I believe you can use just one 8 pin plug and using the second one is optional.

The classified looks like a nice board, so is there anything that you guys don't like about it? and what do you wish EVGA to improve?

I think it really depends on the case exhaust orientation. I have mine blowing through to the back as my exhaust fan is at the back of the case. If it were say a coolermaster haf case then I'd have it exhausting to the top of the case as there is a huge fan at the top.

A fan blowing on the Vreg would be great like the antec spot cool. But I have yet to put one round there yet.

Yeah that is actually how I have my fans. The fan on the NB is pulling air from gpu through the nb heatsink and out towards the cpu heatsink where the fan dispearses it.

Nice system there! I love that case...

Can you take a "closer" picture on your push/pull config and send it to me please? I think is tricky to assemble that way.

Hey guys, board just came in yesterday, or rather, I just got back in the country yesterday. Haven't gamed in months so I've wasted a lot of time, but i've got some tasty RAM testing (including a 12GB configuration) coming up, and next week i'll get to bench ln2 with 3 of every graphics card under the sun.

One question for everyone though, I've got a copy of windows 7 build 7127 that I'd like to use for my 24/7 OS, but EVGA's CD refuses to install the sound and LAN because they are vista drivers. Since Nvidia's w7 and vista 185.85 drivers are essentially identical i'm thinking it might work to just download the drivers individually and install them manually, but I was wondering if anyone knew of existing w7 drivers for this board? neither google nor evga.com does.

Firstly, Windows 7 already has got the intel x58 chipset, Realtek GbE NIC and Realtek sound drivers intact. If you want the lastest driver there is for the realtek nic and sound, just run windows update will do.
So to speak, the only driver that needs to be installed will be your graphics card driver, which you have already mentioned.
