    3570/3580 and 975 is gonna be _the_ for pi and other singelthreaded.

    I think that 3540 and 950 still will be good enough for vantage/06

    Bryan Y., whats the difference between the W3570 you have and the W3580? Same clockspeed and QPI. All these 1366 Xeons confuse me.

    w3580 is 3.33ghz 975 xeon equiv., w3570 is 3.2ghz and is 965 equiv

    Thanks!! I was thinking the W5580 on newegg was a W3580 so that is what got me confused. W5580 is 3.2ghz.
