I have it and i love it. Pain in the ass to bleed though. But to answer your question its not noisey at all. Just has a soothing waterfall trickle. Your mind doesnt even pay attention to it.

Bleeding means letting all the air out of the loop.

And I don't think you'll be bothering anyone with that res .

Nawh its not loud at all! Nothing compared to that video you linked. Bleeding was refering to getting out all of the air bubbles in the loop. Youll be pretty darn happy with it imo.

I have a problem with soundchecks posted on YouTube. Reason is that everyone uses different systems, and has there sound set to a different level.
I put YouTube's sound to a point where the *click* heard in the beginning of the movie sounds like it would also do in my room. If that's a correct level, then trust me, it will be quiet .

    4ddiction-

what about it or why is it difficult to bleed the system using it? The waterfall causes bubbles to get sucked back into the outlet or something along those lines?

I think to fix all you got to do is keep it running at lowest speed or pinch a hose to lower the flow ,after wile should be gone

nawh, since my reservoir in my loop is lower than my cpu block and my rad, its harder to bleed because i have one air bubble stuck that doesnt want to come out. Im just leaving it now because, im taking everything out and running a new loop since i ordered a EK block for my video card.

if it's stuck in your tubing, it's mostly an aesthetic problem. If it's stuck in your pump, then you might have a very noisy pump untill you manage to get that bubble out.

I confirm: this reservoir is noisy IF you use the input with the flow indicator. Don't use this input and you'll have no problem at all. What is noisy: the flow indicator (a little bit depending on you flow rate, @ 300L/h = 80 US gallons per hour, it's noisy regarding my own criteria), but mainly the ''waterfall'' because when the water come back to the reservoir through the ''standard'' input, if the reservoir is not completely FULL, the water falls down from the top of the pump... and it's like a ''zen water fountain'' but it makes me angry instead of zen ^^

Finally I came back to a Res 100 reservoir...

If you want to use it without noise, just use one of the 3 other threads for water input... you have 4 input threads, 3 of them on the bottom and the 4th one linked to the flow indicator and the top ''waterfall style'' water input...

Another problem if you use the standard input: bubbles ... I tried to use it fully filled but... still having some noise because of water temperature changes... the pressure is different depending on the pump speed and the water temp so...

I'm not happy, for the price it's not better than a Res 100 or 150, or a Swiftech MCRES. Click on my worklog you'll see it mounted into my rig. Finally I've decided to unmount it today and use a Res 100 installed on top of a Dual Top with the LINK option. Easier to fill the loop, less bubbles, and finally the loop is free of bubbles quicker.
