    D-Tek FuZion GFX 2, O-ring BAD. =(

I recently purchased a 2nd one of these water blocks, and because my 2nd card is a 55nm, no more unisink. =( I had to open the block this time around to switch brackets because of this.

Well I put the block back together and then fought a leak for 3 hours, finally I noticed the leak was coming out of the side of the block by the little slit right in the middle.

When I opened the block to inspect the oring was not set in place properly. i had squished it to the side.

So i put it in place properly, and started it all up. i now have a very slow leak, upon re-inspection the o-ring is seated properly, however there is a small dent in the side, right where the leak is.

So, in conclusion, I NEED A NEW O-RING. I take full responsibility for what happened, so I am not going to try and send the whole thing back as defective. I just want to purchase a new O-ring. Does anybody know where I can get ahold of one? Or have a good contact info for D-tek. They have not replied to my email, and they never replied to my previous email.

Thankyou all who made it this far.

Perhaps try giving some of the major resellers a call?

Any hardware store should sell o-rings. I would check there first.

    Naekuh : It's the derlin + copper O-ring.

It's kind of a square O-ring with rounded corners. I didn't know if I could find one exactly the same in a hardware store?

Yea I will try giving some of the etailers a call, if they don't carry them they may be able to contact D-tek on my behalf, or order me one in.

That's one of the things I hate about D-Tek stuff...their gaskets are not standard.

Anyway, you can get them at
