    Help OCing my 8800gt

    Stock speeds are 625/1566/900

I've been able to get it up to at least 700-725/1753-1816/1000

Temps are still good with just the stock cooler on it. Just wondering what the best way to test for stability is? Is there a program that will detect errors/artifacts?

Furmark 1.6.5 will beat the crap out of your card, but be warned, it is a heeeeeaaaaavvvvvvy load and watch your temps close. If your oc can handle 10-20 minutes of that, then you should be good for some lengthy gaming.

Again, I stress caution with such a tool or my avatar could be your computer lol, not really, you'll prob just BSOD, but you get my point now.

furmark is nice for temps but if you want to know if you are 100% stable just play crysis

In OCCT you can do a GPU error checker. Which works nice, just run it for 15mins. to check for artifacts.

I use Furmark and the benchmark from Crysis. I blieve there is one for FarCry 2 also. Then there is always futuremark to test it also.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll grab OCCT and furmark and see how she goes. I've been running the crysis warhead benchmark just as a performance indicator and havent noticed any artifacts yet.

EDIT: Just ran OCCT error check 1680x1050.... How many errors is normal....? :S
Ran at stock clocks and got 28000 errors temps got up to 80 in a 6min (1 min of actual test) test. Stock cooler, Not sure if the fan speed went up or stayed at 25%

EDIT 2: Ran again 1280x800 windowed, temps lower (fan on 100%) this time with clocks in my sig, only got 1 error
Ran a third time with clocks 740/1854/1000, 0 errors, also, whats the coef number mean?
