Where do the plastic barbs go - mcp355?

Hi all,
I finally broke down and ordered all the rest of my WC'ing parts yesterday. But I was wondering something. I bought an xspx restop and a laing ddc(swifttech mcp355).

For those of you who are familiar with this setup, where do those barbs end up going? Is there some kind of plugs provided with the restop? or does the restop cover up these holes?

The restop replaces the entire top of the pump. Those plastic barbs are simply removed along with the rest of it, and the restop has tapped holes for you to use your own barbs.
