    Minimum voltage possible.



    I was trying to run the program 20 loops with Linx, but only the voltage was stable with 1.232v.

    I just started trying to overclock this system today. I need a 24/7 stable overclock with low volts. This is my work PC that is always on.

    I printed out someone else's 920 D0 overclock and basically copied it entirely. So far I've figured out that I need to remove some of the excess thermal paste from my Scythe Mugen 2, because I still have load temps in the low 80s and idle temps in the low 30s. Idle temps seem OK, load temps are way wrong. Also, the X58 IOH temp in the bios is 60c. Is this something to be concerned about? And where is it located on the board so I can attempt to cool it down if it is a problem.

    I tried these same settings at 210 blck and the computer locked up during a 32m hyperPI calculation. No BSOD, just a hard lock.

    I'm super happy with this overclock, but I think it can be improved with lower voltages, tighter ram timings, or more of an overclock on the RAM. I know it will do 8-8-8, because it used to boot up at 8-8-8 when I had XMP enabled.

    Once I get this overclock situated, I'm going to try and improve my D0 920 overclock at home. I have an EVGA classified board, D0 920 and a Noctua cooler. My CPU is only at 3.8ghz though.

    You want current feedback override enabled to stop it throttling the cpu under heavy load at high clocks.

    More vtt will stabilise higher bclk's and tighter memory timings. +340 is about the limit on air, but it usually works best when its around the same as vcore (if you need it that high). 1.64 to 1.72v is where the bloodrage works best in terms of vddr - reckon you're a little low at 1.6v.

    PLL you can drop to at least 1.616v and cpu clock amplitude is fine at 700mv as well.

    I'm getting errors in Linx and reboots when I try to play 6 screen eyefinity on stock GPUs. EDIT: I'm thinking my 700w PSU isn't enough to push 6 monitors on my main 2gb 5870 as well as powering the 4.2GHz overclock on the 920. I'm trying to figure out how juicy of a PSU I need to buy. I think 1200w should cover me.
