Heatkiller 1366 - Plate or no Plate?

So, has anyone done any temp testing on the removal of the internal plate yet?

I am curios... It seems the plate was designed for multi core CPU's, but then rumors say it actually performs better without it.

Which plate? The impingement plate or the dual processor insert?

Ahhh.. that's what that little piece of plastic was for. It was in the bag of mounting equipment and I had no idea. Good to know about it, thanks.

Same thoughts as you heh... I thought i had to take the block apart to find the plate... I guess the 1366 version ships with the divider already removed.
