This is my first MSI board in my life. My first feelings are pretty good. IMHO this board is better than ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe.

Ever since MSI came out with the K9a2 platinum things have been looking better and better for them.

K8N Neo2 Plat was my favorite board of all time..

I WILL have one of these, if it lives up to my Neo2 legacy I'll be a happy camper..

I agree with you about the K9A2 Plat though, it was a really nice board. The only problem was the PWM section was a little weak when pushed.

Im talking Phenom based mobos

they are doing real nice. K9A2 Plat then I also had the DKA 790GX plat which was excellent and now this.

I've already updated to 1.1 official.

I've just found a bug:

I set 1.4250 VID in the BIOS but the board's own sensor shows only 1.4000V.

Has anyone tried these measure points?

BTW, GD70 supported Everest is coming soon...

my board arrived yesterday including 2000MHZ DDR3 Sticks

But hey have to wait another month for my cpu

what sticks did you get? I just got this mobo as well, but I haven't ordered sticks yet. I'm thinking about the diablos.

ok i was able to hit 5.0 on all cores but stability was flaky, so i spent all nite trying to find out what the problem could be, i flash from beta to release bios the problem went away for 2 sessions but the returned. the problem exhibits itself when on the post code reader only 1 of the 2 display led are showing then the bios turns to hell, long story short it was when cfx is used the board doesnt like 2 4870x2. i saw this in the giga board but they fixed it with a bios update,so im hoping msi will release 1 soon

theres issues with nb performance right now my cpu score should be higher. hopefully the next bios addresses the issue

Did you try dropping it down some to take it out of the CPU clock equation yet?

Either way killer results! I hope the retail versions are as strong as your sample...

i only used dri ice so far for this board was planing ln2 for this weekend but ran into issues so it wasnt worth spending money on ln2 till theyre sorted out
