I've got a brand new 300 gig raptor sitting here, and Vista64 w/sp1 Ultimate due in today that I want to do a dual boot for vista and my XPPro32/sp2 with. I've had a helluva time trying to install XP pro with AHCI enabled in the bios (never did get it to work) to run in SATA mode. I got a good deal on vista through a student discount. Is this a defintive guide on how to do it, or is there any known better ways to do this? Is there a suggested partition size for vista ultimate? I was going to make it 80 gig, and the next partition for XP at 30 gig. I always make seperate partitions for my programs and another for my games. I need to keep XP Pro on for a while for one 32 bit program that doesnt have 64 bit support yet. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks
