    Asus P6T Deluxe Temps

I have water blocks on the NB SB & mosfets plus a cpu water block installed on my P6T deluxe. and I do believe my temps are really high I get : cpu 40c-45c idle 45c -55c gaming. MB 50c-55c idle 55c-69c gaming. Now i got 2 GTX 260's not liquid cooled, one of which in the top blue slot seems to sit on top of the NB SB cooling block, I don't know if that might be why MB temp so high, because those GTX cards run hot! Please let me know if these temps are dangerous, or if there within limits? I know the asus probe utility has a default alarm for MB temp set at 60c, it went off on me, and I had to raise the alarm to max= 75c. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Adam, what CPU have you got ? What do you have and what fans do you have on them ?

oh wow... okey now i see how good my CnC blocks are.

My board never drifts past 40C. :X

Right now its at 34-35C. With water coolants @ 24C.

i think he removed the black alu top off the stock sink, and threw on a NB-MAX type of block on top of the heat pipes.

I honestly thought it would be a good solution, but after reading his post i think i was really wrong.

They are the CNC blocks... but I don't thick I have an adequate liquid cooling system, it is a stock thermaltake Kandalf lcs cooling case. the only fans it has is a rear exhaust and fans on a pretty decent size radiator.

Are my temps way to high? or are they at least within limits? My water coolant temp is around 70c I got a 920 i7 cpu

Temps for the i7 are definately fine. The one thing I would worry about is you say your liquid temps are 70C!

Yes thats a bit high, infact its dangerously high.

If you meant 70F, then i think your blocks arent making good contact, or something is not working properly in your system.

Those CnC blocks should keep the board fairly stable temp wise under load and idle.

I can't really tell since your 45-55C was gaming. What does it do in prime? For the northbridge temps you did clip that little fan on that came with the MB didn't you? If you do watercooling you need something pushing air on the chipset.

I am watercooling both Northbridge & Southbridge & mosfets, so I have no where to put the little fan that came with it.... Prime did only CPU testing , I am more worried about the MB temp....

I but a fan directly blowing on the 2 GTX260 Graphics cards , and it dropped the motherboard temp down to 52c, Is that temp within safe limits?

Pictures say more then a thousand words, or so they say.

What pump are you using, e.g. what else are you running.
Something might be blocking the flow maybe.

i need a picture of this.

waterblocks on northbridge make it so the delta from idle and load is very small. It should be on the level of gpu small.

Installed Riva Tuner, and set the 2 GTX 260's I got to 100% duty cycle. It braught the motherboard temps to 36c idle & 47-50c gaming. This solution seems to working for now... Any suggestions?

Looks good to me is that dominator gt memory???? You might want to get a better Waterblock for your processor....just an idea.

oh dear lord you paired my blocks with thermaltake.

The cards are probably dumping the heat onto your board, and your sensor is not getting a very good NB reading.

Try to clean up some wiring and see if that helps.

The Thermatake case is all that i have for the moment, please tell me what I should get? I had a thought of putting the CnC blocks on their own separate external cooling loop? any suggestions?

I am new to a 1366 build, and I am trying my best. The thermaltake case I have worked just fine on my 775 build, Naekuh why is thermaltake so horrible?, is it inaduquate to your blocks or what? I might be new here but, I thought you could give me a tad of advice considering I spent $200.00 on your blocks! ( which were not the easiest install ) I'm just looking for a little help here from the masters in this forum, everyone has to start somewhere!

I would jettison that Themaltake CPU block out the nearest airhatch

i would need a coolant test to see if you even have a good mount on your CnC blocks.

Im still thinkn you might have a bad mount. Becuase i havent heard of anyone who has deltas as high as you do with these blocks.

Im sure DB doesnt even delta's that high.

How do you run a coolant test?
I have a temp gauge on my loop & it stays around 22.6c - 24.0c
Since I up'd the fan speeds on my GTX 260's my MB temp doesn't break 53c when gaming now.

    Hey my friend,

If you currently using the one radiator and pump for a few water blocks (only using 1 loop), your temperature will be high level but its normal thing. Because your GPU has huge temp. potential in your case and you using the one rad and pump in your case thats why you getting huge temp results with these equipments.

Can you tell us whats your currently specs. in your water cooling system exactly? I mean how many water block do you have? how many pump do you have? how many radiator do you have? And whats their brand and model names. Link them all please.

    Cheers,
    Josephe
