    Noise with Laing

    Hello guys!

    Need your help.

I've a Laing with plexy top. I'm not happy with the noise and need some solution to reduce it.

    What do you recommend?

I've been looking for one of these solutions:

CTR-SPD10 Pump & Fan Speed Controller

    Aquacomputer Poweradjust

    Watercool SILENTstar DDC-PROBOX

or maybe some home-made solution to control the power...

    what do you recommend?

    Thanks,
    N3RO

What kind of noise is it making? Usually it's mostly vibration that can be easily solved by separating the pump from the case with a rubber spacer. I think this would be a much easier solution than reducing voltage while maintaining top performance.

Yep - check the vibration. My MCP 355s are so quiet, I have to actually feel the base to convince myself they are running. Something doesn't sound right.

don't mount it...let it sit on something that absorbs vibration
