    1000watts of Qmax V the mighty TRUE air cooler

    These temps are with my Q6600 @ 3600 @1.42
    As you can see my uncompleted chillier is able to keep my CPU 50c cooler than the mighty TRUE.

    What power are you running the TECs at ? How warm is your room getting ?

    it uses 450 watts of electricity and my room temps aren't a problem as i've got my radiators outside

    Are those the gigantic 62mm ebay TECs ?

    What kind of temps can you get away with if you decrease the voltage further?

    any specs on the TECs and voltage you're running would be great.

    Thats with 4 x 226Qmax TEC's running at 10 volts each (about 69% of Umax)

    But seriously it's the only practical way to TEC cooling PC's in the future if they continue to use more power

    Sorry to dig up an old thread, but Sonic, here are a few questions for ya :

    1- what are you using to power your t.e.c.s ?

    2- what are you using to cool down the hot plates?

    3- do you have any more pics? It's a pretty cool concept...

    1 two 24 volt 320watt psus . it uses about 450watts

    2 3 GTS 240's with 2000 rpm fans (so not that much when you do the numbers)
