    Big server case

Im looking for something big, a server case, in the $300 range. I dont care about drivebays, i just need a lot of space.

    What im thinking:
    at least 2 psu slots
at least 6 spaces for fans
not a 75lb cube from xoxide
    wheels
instead of 1 big area, structure like 2 built together

Thanks if anyone knows where i can find one of these.

When I needed more room...I ended up stacking cases for my WC project. Here's a pic:

cases aren't to hard to paint. I think black would look nice on any of the cases.

Just try to put the weight in your bottom case and it will be stable. I have my pump, rad and large res in my bottom case

Check out Mountain Mods for some nice roomy custom cases...

I'd go with one of those myself...

I love those cases at Mt. Mods! I hope to have one eventually. It was a matter of money for me at the time. I already had 2 $30 cases that used to be folders and were lying empty and unused, so I ended up with a $60 case that did the job instead of a $350 dream case.

Well, I have one... but getting it to you could be a problem...

    It's a JMR Electronics Inc 21CS-001. Steel / Zintec plate casing... 21x5.25" Bays, 3x 3.5" Bays, 3x PSU Mounts, 3x120mm BlowHoles.

Only downside is it's an AT Chassis so needs some slight modwork to fit an ATX mobo...

S'not blue... it's white.... just a badly lit photo...

Used to work for the company that made em (JMR Electronics)... I was in the middle of programming the pullmax and nishinbo punches to convert em to ATX when they discontinued it... so I only have the AT prototype... They don't make anything anywhere near as nice these days unfortunately, just mass-storage cabinets (http://www.jmr.com/solutions/collate...g15/index.html for instance)

How about looking for something older (and cheaper )
I have bought an HP NetServer 5/66 LF for less than ~ 30$

and... take a look how does it look now

    http://greencube.myslenka.net/overall-beta1/

Well, it still isn't finished, but work continues

it features: Epox 8K5A2+ with an DUT3C 1700+ @ 2200MHz, watercooled NB and CPU (blocks made by a member of overclocking.cz/4um member Galaxi - check this http://www.sweb.cz/galax01/ ), FSB 200MHz on KT333 (max 235 - see link in my signature), everything written in my signature.
But more, a PWM regulator using Atmel 89C52RD2 MCU, with LCD output and more, but with still quite buggy firmware (no time to debug )

Well, I've bought this one in a second-hand IT shop, with quite interesting setup .. Pentium 66, 64MB SIMM RAM, ~2.5GB SCSI2 HDD etc..

and I managed to come by another one, but from a guy from overclocking.cz forum, so..

you can try looking for some companies changing their machinery

I'd have suggested the PC76 Lain li case. But it's not split in to two sides, nor can it take dual PSU.

Does have a load of room though.

Any chance you'd like to share your planning? I'm amazed that almost any project could require TWO sever cases like those you've ordered.
