9.1 was dire for me. Couldnt run any 3DMark and would stutter alot in games on my 4870X2.

    I hope 9.2 helps.

9.1 didn't cause me to have to reinstall Windows like 8.12 did, but it doesn't work with crossfire either. I can enable it, but it actually decreased my framerates and causes stuttering problems so I turned it off. I don't care if 9.2 is any faster. Just make it work.
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.

    Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.

    Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.

    Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.

    Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.

You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.

ATI didn't release 9.2 on a Wednesday?! Are we sure there feeling okay? Check there temps. Hopefully its under 80c.

I'm with particle Some Crossfire shouldn't be getting less then or equal to 1 card set up. Its annoying to see that. I monitor gpu usage with gpu-z and good deal of games with crossfire will use under 50% of each card, while with 1 card i will see around 95%. Only thing i can do with crossfire is to do 32aa wide tent and see 90%+ on each card. But I prefer edge detect, but dose not work on all games.

The site seems to be easier to navigate now... but the "drop down" menu appears on top, feels kinda odd.

Should check the release notes... if I find them

8.12Hots. were previouse driver . These seem to be the same maybe faster. I have not benched but my games play nice and AA works and Crossfire works.

9.2 just plays nice .. I Even said what the heck and installed them right over the 8.12's JUST to See if It would Mess up. It was ther fastest install ive ever done.

Its amazing that I could not use 8.11// 9.1 as they were both horrid for my system . So this is very welcome and Crossfire performs same or better as 8.12hotfix(was most stable before the 9.2's)..

Hmm shure there may be some game bugs)Nv or ATI will always have something wacky ,

In the long run ATI is cracking the whipi at employees ,, Knowing they need to stay on top!.

No crashing with 9.2 and 2 x 4850s here, but it didn't work right either. I reinstalled 9.1 so I could watch videos again without major tearing. You know what, I don't like that word due to constant confusion with tearing (as in tears/crying/etc). I'm going to call it video rending.
