Hey... just an idea.... perhaps you guys could try out a low-end XGI volari... whenever it comes out....

...Since we're on the SiS bandwagon now, which I think a really good idea...

...Agreed very much, a departure from the same old same old is necessary... heck, we could even try S3 deltachromes for some real fun...

I don't see the point doing a 3dmark03 contest with nonn dx9 cards. Aren't we going to use 3dmark01?

The old man is in boys

I like the Xabre idea too..takes the same ole same ole out of the equation with nVidia or ATI. The question is...are we talking the 200 or 400 version of the Xabre card?? Theres only a couple dollar difference from what I saw at NewEgg.

I am not here as often as I like lately, so if someone could keep me posted via pm or email I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm up for having some fun not enjoyed in quite some time:thumbsup:

There should be a $50 cap on this card thats the whole point of this is to OC a cheap card and sorta even up the odds for everyone.

I'd vote for the Xabre 400 looks like a good bet.

I am thinking about participaiting in this challenge. It looks like a good idea to stick with Xebre400.

    If I can get my hands on a GeForce2 MX400, I'm in.

I'll be participating in the AXP < 2.5Ghz (249x10 ) category. And I've got dual Prometeia's... FEAR ME!

I like the idea of the Xaber400 in theory but I cant find anywhere that sells one in the UK yet...

I have to go to work now, can somebody with a little more time see if they can find anywhere in the UK/europe that sells these cards at a good price.
