    Thanks for posting.

My version has the fans running at 100% every time I get out of sleep. It is just annoying to have to lower it back down to what I had it originally. Is this problem due to user error or the software's fault?

    Might this beta help?

    SpeedFan 4.39 Beta 7

Completely rewritten SMART hard disk access routines. Now it works even with drivers that use SCSI MINIPORT. Please, visit the SMART tab, select any hard disk. If supported, two buttons (EXTENDED and SHORT TEST) should appear. Press any of them and a non-destructive hard disk test will be performed by the hard disk itself. Press the refresh button to see the process status.
Added support for new chips (like the Fintek F71889F and the Winbond W83795G) and improved support for other ones. In order to run this beta, simply install SpeedFan 4.38, then replace the EXE and then run SpeedFan as usual.

I just completed the build below (workstation) and am having a problem with trottling of the CPU fan (120 mm, 2000 rpm). The BIOS Smart speed settings don't seem to work and neither does Speedfan. Any suggestions?

Beta 13 adds support for W83667HG and greatly improves Intel QST support (including fan speed changing). I need your reports, especially from boards with Winbond and Nuvoton Chips.
In order to run this beta, simply install SpeedFan 4.40, then replace the EXE and then run SpeedFan as usual.
