    I'm getting a Fujifilm FinePix HS-10.
It is compact to be a super-zoom, but not exactly compact. Good low light picture quality, 30x Zoom & HD movie is what I like best, and the 1080p recording can serve as great camcorder too.

It seams to be the jack of all trade, and the only camera an amateur photographer like me would need.

fantastic little camera and has some very inventive modes too. some that i wish a dslr had.
movie mode is damn fine too. can use mjpeg or avchd lite.

its very cheaply built externally but solid inside
it has a very wide angle lens with a super fantastic zoom and as always Lumix's superb image stabilizer.
i gave my mom that camera as a present this december, the little camera is amazing i really like it a lot the video recording is superb and low light pics are pretty nice.

My mom went to the metallica concert in panama (she lives there) and fainted almost at the end the camera dropped and was in the floor for good 20 minutes when she started to look for it, only damage some scratches on the lcd nothing bad but the camera is tough pretty nice for what i paid.
